fyi - while we discuss the law of one we must not forget the one who while in trance dictated the books many years ago and gave them to the world free of charge in her website http://www.llresearch.org if you read the 5th book which is about personal things in her life, you will realize how much she has suffered, and how much she has given. right now...today... she is sick and weak and needs our prayers and get well cards. it's a small thing for us to do, but it can bring a miracle for carla. l&l...jax

carla l. rueckert (mccarty) was born in 1943 in lake forest, illinois. she completed undergraduate studies in english literature at the university of louisville in 1966 and master’s degree studies in library service in 1971. she served as librarian and bibliographer to college and school libraries for six years. she was a meditator with the group don started in early 1962, and became partners with don in l/l research in 1968. in 1970, she turned full-time to assisting don with his research. she read and abstracted books and periodicals, and did correspondence and writing for don. in 1974, she began channeling. she continues these activities. in 1987, she married jim mccarty. she enjoys corresponding with a wide variety of wanderers, readers and spiritual seekers of all kinds, as well as reading romances, fantasy, sci-fi and mysteries, gardening, cooking and writing. she continues her channeling efforts with non-trance sunday meditation meetings. on behalf of l/l research’s metaphysical library, she has been collecting books, tapes and other material in the areas of metaphysical and ufo research since 1970, and invites those who are disposing of metaphysically oriented materials to remember that l/l research is glad to receive such donations. she lives with three cats, jim, and glb in louisville, kentucky.

no question about carla's devotion to the truth. how many of us have glanced at her beautiful picture and considered the personal as well as collective effort that was made? more than anything,this work has brought to our attention, the potential dangers of work in trance. but the "collective heart" seeking before each session, with the use of this prayer for protection:

...nina, that was a lovely post. from carla's blog today she seems better for she didn't speak of her fever, ear/throat problems at all, and was able to be busy all day, as is her wont. the channeling from q'uo went well in the evening (the lighteye guy posted it in this forum for us all to learn from.). everyone here who saw my post here the other day must have sent carla some love. keep it up, gang! l&l, jax :)

i don't know if anyone's said this on the forum, but carla has a chat session every saturday at 12pm pst. you can head over to her site at bring4th.org and click the chat button and ask her whatever.

on the days i've been there, only a handful of people showed up so you'll probably have time to ask her a q. it's pretty sweet.

i am sending well wishes her way too. i'm slowly working thru reading the law of one. i have to take it slowly but i may go to the chapter you spoke of and read that one even though it's a little ahead of where i'm at.
