well,

this could be the primary reason why the study of neuroscience has been on the
fore-front for quite some time.

in the past 5-6 years, scientists have discovered so much information about
the functionality and capacity of the brain that it's mind-boggling. (sorry,
couldn't resist the pun there.) also, they've compiled new research that
contradicts older information that has been accepted as undisputed 'fact' up
until now.
