everybody plays the fool
hello seekers
this whole post will seem either make no sense whatsoever, or it may
explain some things. it is for everyone since we are all on our own
journey, but not everyone may be at the same point in the path. that
does not matter. the time is now, for the path to be seen, and the
temple and for all the walls of illusion to come crumbling down. ??
love to everyone's journey
the fools journey
the tarot is really every human life, displayed in hieroglyphics. in
assimilating the wisdom of the tarot, and deciphering the symbols, a
human may be propelled forward in their search for their proper
place in the circle of life. the lower mind is connected to the
higher mind, by a series of analogies. this bridge is displayed in
the symbolic tarot, which is a reflection of the different stages of
the human life. all the mysteries of life and death are revealed in
the tarot. tarot, from ta rota, the wheel.
life is a wheel, and consciousness returns over and over to bodies,
and you and i have walked in other skin and seen through other eyes,
yet our soul remains, ever constant, ever learning. following the
path of the fool of the tarot is seeing life as a virtual adventure
game, to put it into current terms. bodies are like avatars, and the
soul observes each life, as it moves through the currents of time
using its free will to make wise or unwise choices. our lives, day
to day, are no more real then a virtual reality adventure on a
computer, but to us, who are inside the adventure it is very real.
if life is like a adventure game, then the tarot could be like
consulting the handbook. the fool is not by accident given the value
of zero. zero, has taken on a new definition in the quantum
universe. zero, no longer means nothing, because nothing has been
proven not to exist. zero is really pregnant with every possibility
waiting to manifest. this is the fool, standing with his bag of
possessions, none of which he is wise enough to understand, and
stepping out on his journey totally clueless. the fool is easy to
see; the innocent soul who comes to earth only seeing what is right
in front of his eyes, with no deeper understanding.
the fool walks in the outer world, and only much later begins to see
the inner world. the tarot displays this hidden inner world, but no
fool would ever be able to understand what a inner world is. the
fool is a stage of consciousness. the magician is the higher self,
guiding the lower self, through intuitions and analogies to
understand the illusions from the truth. every fool, needs a
teacher, and who better than the wiser, higher self.
the fool sees the image of power, and contemplates, love over will.
since the fool sees only according to the eyes, he decides to become
the conqueror. he still does not understand that it is the inner
world he is meant to conquer, but then this is why the fool journey
began, to discover this wisdom along the way and find his way to the
path leading to the temple.
he obtains many symbols of hidden mysteries, but he confuses owning
the symbols with having the understanding of how to use them. he
carries them in his mind. also in his mind is the concept of
duality, the black pillar and the white, and this is how the fool
sees, in black and white. he has gained much knowledge, but has not
gained wisdom, because his inner beast still rules him and he uses
power to obtain his will. he thinks victory goes to the conqueror;
the one with more power in the world, while the real inner power
goes ignored. he has the illusion of believing that conquest is the
prize and the victory. the fool does not yet understand the real
power of love, but he will.
the fool, searching for knowledge, for a time follows the twilight
world of half- truth, where like the moon, the light is bright from
above but in shadows below. he is frightened of this unknown realm
and shivers as he walks past grave-yards and whistles. here black
magic and superstition dwell. this is a stage of consciousness.
up ahead, burn the fires of illusion.
the fool must not make the mistake of believing the world is real,
and that anything in the game is worth delaying his journey. many
fools are postponed for many lives, believing, in the power of
physical things.
here while on his path, he sees a giant tower being constructed. the
builders want him to join them in erecting this edifice to illusion.
the tower was begun as a reminder of the real temple, constructed
within, but now the original intent has been lost. there are no
mysteries in a physical tower and no one can rise to the heaven
within by walking up stone stairs. this too is illusion, for the
builders believe this is the temple and that by building up the
tower of stone they can attain heaven. they believe the master
dwells in this outer stone tower, while not realizing that the
master dwells in temples of consciousness. the fool continues his
journey past the stone tower, while the builders stand arguing over
who owns the tower and who is better, or closer to the master. now,
each one seems to have a different version he speaks, while none
speak the truth of the real temple. they are babbling.
the fool continues on his journey
in the journey of the fool, each human has experienced every event
and situation covered in the tarot. within each human, is the entire
whole of the universe, because everything in the universe is
holographic in nature, which means each piece carries the image of
the whole.
to gain wisdom, the fool must see the illusions in the game, which
distract him on his way, and get him no closer to the goal. this is
his conscious mind, seeing only as a fool can see. he gains a mate.
the fool and his mate must be able to see through the illusion of
world's physical pleasures, to see that which binds them together in
service to one another is love, and that their love was supposed to
be a prayer, and that through their love, the world balances itself.
without the lower mind being connected to the higher mind, the fools
of the world, which is all of us at one time or another, are
chained, to a cube of matter, upon which, sits deceit.
everything in the world is an illusion.
the devil is an archetype used to shift the blame from humans own
inner selfish thoughts and actions. this devil symbol displays
weakness. anyone who blames another for their own thoughts and
actions is weak. the fool sees this displayed in stark contrast with
the next scene he sees. this is called power.
he sees a scene by the path. a lion is licking the hand of a young
woman who shows no fear, but has tamed the beast. the inexperienced
one is learning that love is the strongest force on earth and can
even tame that which is thought to be untamable. unlike the fools
who chain themselves to illusion, the woman with the lion licking
her hand has overcome her beastly selfish side and has no illusions
of false power. power comes from the knowledge of self and the
knowledge of the power of love.
at some point in his journey, the fool has had enough experience to
see through some of the illusions, and at this point the fool begins
to change, from the fool into the hermit.
the hermit holds up the lantern of hermes to see the world properly.
the inner knowledge of hermes, provided through the tarot, lights up
even the knowledge he already has, to see in new light. this new way
is the gaining of spiritual eyes and seeing all the illusions of
life. with confidence, the hermit speaks for he has the staff of
inner confidence, for he knows how to hide his secrets, while at the
same time, expressing them. the staff of the hermit (his inner
knowing) guides him past fires of illusions which burn on earth. the
hermit seeks for the joy of seeking and for no other reason.
he sees the empress and sees that death and birth are two parts of
one cycle and is one continuing thread. life and death are then not
two but one, and this is the beginning of the hermit unifying his
conscious mind to see beyond the illusions based on duality. he must
unify many principles in order to approach the winding path to his
own mind.
many illusions exist concerning time.
time, moves one continuous spiral, which goes in circles and so
events. everything perpetually meets.
the hermit, who was recently the fool now can begin to understand
the bag of useless things he has been carrying around since his
journey began. they are not useless at all but the fool did not know
he was carrying the universe within himself. the symbol for the
tarot is a triangle within a square and inside the triangle one dot.
the triangle is the world of spirit, and the square is the world
which is made up of the four elements, fire, water, air and earth
which is what the four items in the fools bag. he is the dot in the
triangle.
the hermit now is having visions and hearing voices. he beholds the
soul of nature, and is told that she builds worlds of dreams and if
he entwines his imagination with nature, nothing will be an obstacle
to him.
the fool wandered from place to place but the hermit is now set on a
path. he wants to know, he seeks. here is the advanced part of this
virtual reality holographic journey. the hierophant is wisdom which
teaches the hermit to always believe in the unbelievable. he appears
after he has built the true temple, and warns not to believe in
external miracles, but only miracles in oneself. he says, the
mystery, the truth and the temple is within each one.
within the conscious mind the true temple is built on truth. even
death, is in the minds of humanity, an illusion.
it is seeing the wheel of life, which allows one to see death in its
proper light. when the sun sinks, in one place, it rises in another.
death and life are part of one circle. this is truth.
"all go, all return, -- the wheel of life ever turns. all die, all
flourish again, -- the year of existence runs eternally.
"all perish, all live again, the same house of existence is ever
building. all separate, all meet again, the ring of existence is
ever true to itself.
"existence begins at every moment. round each 'here' rolls 'there.'
the middle is everywhere. the way of eternity is a curve."
the emperor is now revealed to the hermit. the logos, the holy word.
understand, that all things reflect other things and just as the
fool was every single one of the archetypes yet still being one, so
the logos, the empress, the star and high priestess, are all one. it
is the logos who is the manifestation of all these. the sun is the
fiery word which transforms consciousness.
the fool now finds at the end of his journey, and is no longer the
fool. he is now the magician who has the symbol of infinity over his
head and who unites heaven and earth. he knows himself, and sees no
illusions. he possesses the keys and can read the book and
understand the symbols and is permitted to lift the curtain on the
inner sanctum. and here he finds the scales of justice and balance.
justice he is told cannot be diverted and the sword guards the
sureness that justice. the hermit is told what the scales and the
sword will remove all illusions from the world.
the final symbolic archetype is the hanged man. the hanged man is
the fool after he has shed all illusions and entered the true temple.
the hanged man
see the suffering of the man who sees truth, the understanding of
the endless and the way to eternity. humans do not have access to
this truth, and yet he has sought long and hard, over mountains and
valleys, and he has fallen into pits and been bruised but he finally
prevailed. now he see the enormity of the universe within his small
frame and this contrast is the source of his suffering. now his own
soul hangs upside down because he is seeing human wisdom and higher
wisdom side by side. now he knows himself and now he has found the
truth. he now sees that he was the fool, he was the lover, he was
the hermit. he was the one who was chained to a black cube of
deceit, and he was the chariot driver believing in physical
conquest. he also knows this journey did not take one lifetime, but
many times he appeared on earth in the guise of the fool, yet each
time he gained knowledge, and having traveled through all the stages
of life, he has finally arrived at his goal. now he must exist side
by side with those who are still the fools. but having been the fool
innumerable times, he finds himself magically transformed into the
magician. within himself he carried all the seeds within him, for
one cannot teach a fool. a fool must teach himself through many
mistakes and missteps.
