hello everyone. my name is artie thomas. i have been in this
group for a little while. i am, however, introducing myself for the
very first time. david wilcock suggested that i join this group.
david & i were roommates in college. he has been a support to me as
i have finally broken away from "organized religion" to begin to
become a student of the law of one. i would like to take this
opportunity to thank everyone who contributes to this group. i have
learned so much in such a short amount of time.
like us all, i have had some struggles in my life. i lost my
mom to suicide when i was only 7 years old. my dad died from a
heart attack when i was 10.
i have always been a "spiritual" person. as a child i asked my
parents to bring me to church. from early childhood to the age of
20 i was a devout roman catholic. then i became a "born- again"
christian. when i left this church a few months ago, all my friends
who attend that church cut off all ties with me, saying that i
was "backslidden."
being a part of this group has been a tremendous blessing to
me. not only have i learned a lot from the group postings but i now
feel that i belong to a group that will accept me. i know that my
friendship with david & being his roommate in college was meant to
be. i wouldn't be a part of this wonderful group if it wasn't for
him. thanks again everyone for helping to contribute to my life.
peace & love,
artie
