><font face="arial" size="2">the above paragraph is an opinion statement. i'm also happy to allow free will to reign on this list. recent events have been an excellent discipline in the following four points of toltec wisdom from don miguel ruiz's great book, "the four agreements," especially points one and two:</font>

><font face="arial" size="2">- don't take things personally.</font>
><font face="arial" size="2">- don't make assumptions.</font>

><font face="arial" size="2">i am sure i canfine-tune the practice of these points herein as things progress. just like financial markets, there is a self-correcting system in place. should one person give themselves enough rope they will be hanged. (we had enough for a whole fleet of ships to rig on up and out to sea - even pat parker who ended everything with "i'm sorry if this offends you" (and of course it didn't, :) set sail a fleet of his own. complete with the plank.) </font>

><font face="arial" size="2">my intervention is akin to government market manipulation in these cases; it can lead to imbalance, as in the case of the mucking around with california's power. price caps, controls, et cetera created the problem they now have. normally this is not the case; here i am. considering the number of members i am sure that there were many more unspoken comments to reflect those that did appear. personally i was / am reminded of the quote from dr. fritz perls: "look to the projections, and there you will find the issues of the individual." a person like myself, working for the one with some degree of pr,naturally causes others to process and beam back their own issues with self, even if they never realize that's what they are doing. and ultimately the appropriate response is compassion and wisdom:</font>
