i got ya all beat...i navigated the old
international travel-all packed with my
ex-girlfriend and gear--inside and on top
with a stuffed canoe--all the way from
northern california to close to cabo san
lucas in baja non-stop. 40 straight hours on
the road. hwy 1 in baja is one dangerous
road and not a very forgiving one for a
top-heavy travel-all. just the danger alone
kept me awake, but i did doze one moment and
if i had dozed for two more moments, we'da
gone off the narrow, high, train-track-like
road. i had to be helped walking from the
navigator's seat to the hotel bed. :-)
