first a little about myself then the question.

i have found a connection with the material here and the law of one. it is along with i had thought since i was a young child. some were along the line, i trapped my self in myself. i have battled drug addiction, self esteem (like everyone), a terrible father, and a stint in the pokie. all along the way i have seen these truths and watched them as through glass. my moments of clarity reminding me of my purpose, but only for the moment. constantly divided from myself. i am finally summoning the strength to change.

more recently i have started to burn my house down (metaphor). it is time for a change. i am in the middle of a divorce, care for her deeply but we are not happy together. i have to short sale or foreclosure on my house, actually am not to concerned about this.

i am now alone with a pile of ashes in front of me. the phoenix is ready to rise. i want to start contributing my time to help others and would like to know if you had any ideas? volunteer work of some kind. i have many skills to contribute, my current professional skill is computer services (i say it generally be cause i literally do all things except build the devices.). it would give me the opportunity to meet people and give at the same time.

love you and appreciate your contributions,

af

i've been thinking of creating a community online for people that know they are wanderers, or that have woken up to infinite intelligence and know that they are part of oneness. the idea would be to helping eachother to do things in society that matters and wakes up alot of people. much like davids work he's doing right now, his 2012 book and movie.

but what can we do that are regular middleclass (or any other class) people? well, we are where we are because we have a purpose to be there. i've made it my goal to help all i know to come into contact with work such as davids. for most i will show davids movie and tell them about the real science backing it up and the idea behind the movie being a movie to wake people up.

the future is us, we are the future. the future is now, all is now. so a community full of wanderers could be fun :) i want to know you all, and know what you've done, been through and so on so we can help more to wake up.

love!

hi atlantian,

thank you for your honesty in your post and sharing it with us all.

first, well done on your battles - keep going and as time goes by they will become easier to deal with. the old self esteem is a problem we all face, some to varying degrees.

i relate to you regarding the "terrible father", mine was a step dad who at best was not particularly pleasant and at worse was a ...well i better stop there! the affect of a miserable childhood will almost certainly leave you (and anyone) with a low self esteem. my dad (well step) always used to say to me that i had the brains of a rocking horse. it is funny now but at the time it hurt, especially as i was also badly bullied at school.

anyway, the best advice i can give you and it is the only real advice on that issue is forgiveness. if someone would have told me that 3 years ago i would have gone on one. i have managed to forgive all of those that caused me such pain. i truly believe i have reached that point. i used to casually think about him and the bullies and get upset and angry. i spent oh so many years hating and loathing these people. at the end of the day it was me that suffered through life, they would have moved on and forgotton about me many years ago. (my mum left him 12 years ago and i have heard nothing from him since). through my awakening, i was able to "let it go" and send them off, forgiven and much more importantly, with love. i now thank them for the lessons i learned. i am truly liberated. i did what i thought was the impossible :d

maybe (if you have not already) you could forgive your dad as a start at least? during my phase of forgiveness i reminded myself that there is so much hatred and so many wars in this world, i did not want to add to that negative field as the field was big enough already.

glad to see you are not bothered at selling your house for a lower price too. that is just a material thing (providing of course you have somewhere else to go) and at the end of the day all of these things are material and useless to where we will all (hopefully!) end up.

from one human to another, your willingness to give your time and your desire to help others is both heart warming and honerable. without wishing to sound in the slightest bit patronising, one thing you could do (and probably do) is send out love to our wonderful planet and all of her inhabitants. she/they and we need as much of it as possible.

i am sorry i cannot give you much advice but the forgiveness thing is very important - good luck!

i will pray for you (to the creator as i am not into earthly religion at all) and i hope your road will become smooth and will take care of you.

with love,

matt

thanks matt. i do forgive my father. now that i am older and hopefully wiser, i feel for him that he suffered enough to lash out the ways he did.

enivid, i agree to a degree. :) i don't want to push my views on others, but rather be an example. let their will come to the subject. i have thought about opening a spiritual center. a place to launch and helpful initiatives, have reference materials, have gatherings, and/or activities.and no i don't mean a church.;)

i have had dreams about having it and also have a strong calling in me to do it. i have been waiting until i am more 'centered' to start pursuing it.

i am interested on volunteer ideas?

you say you have computer skills - there is a group of volunteers who transcribe all of david's radio shows and project camelots as well. i did it for a period of time. you really get into the material when you transcribe a show and you can pick what it is you'd like to transcribe. i always felt this was a great service. mind you, you're not exactly getting out and meeting people, but you'd still have time for that as well.;)

pm me if you're interest and i'll hook you up with the right people.

hi atlantian,

you are more than welcome :d

you sound like you are well on the way to happiness and freedom from all of your woes, if not almost at the finish line!

good luck with your future hopes and dreams, i hope they come to fruition.

if you do decide to take up kris's offer and transcribe for project camelot and or david, let me know how you get on as this would be something i would be interested in doing.

personally i would see it as a great honour to be able to give something back to these people for all of their hard work. you know i started reading davids "convergence" today and i am bowld over at the fact he has put all of this work into this book (online) and has given it away for free. i would love to give something back i.e transcribe for him as a thank you.

again, the very best of luck in all of your future undertakings.

matt

i have started a meditation group in my area. i believe in the ra materials, this is the fastest way to raising your vibration and healing yourself. i have started a meditation group in my area and (to my surprise) i lead the meditations.

i did have an idea to connect all of the meditation session together through video (freeware application). one group would take the lead and the others would follow the meditation. it would be an undertaking but well worth the effort to get everyone together to meditate at once. it would be kewl if dw could lead the meditations once a month. the meditations would only be for an hour max (most likely 30 minutes) to start.

love and light

dear atlantean ferret,

please do something to help people with drug addictions. i dont know what, or what your rescources are, but you sound like you're in a perfect vibe right now to be able to do something somehow. i can not believe how many friends and aquaintances around me are addicted to something -- it is literally crazy. i hope that you are doing well, and i'm proud of you ...

i know this might sound crazy, but consider checking out local churches. many churches have good connections to all sorts of volunteer projects, and besides, you may even want to consider regular attendance just to cultivate the possibilty of finding and aiding people on the spiritual path--yes, even at church! but the probability of finding resonance does depend on the type of church you go to, i.m.exp. the more progressive the better. remember, wanderers are here to help, but also to raise vibrations, set examples, be models and teachers, etc. so the more interpersonal exposure you get, quite likely the more you'll serve others, without even really "serving". at the same time, volunteer stuff is a great way to establish relationships with potentially likeminded people that allows you to explore the deeper stuff in casual but significant conversation.
anyway, blessings to you and may love guide you!

lately, i've been contemplating voluntourism. for anyone who doesn't know the meaning, voluntourism combines traditional travel with volunteer work. like, helping build houses for guatemala city, etc. i'm no longer in school, and it seems like i have to major in rocket science just to get a job. these last several years it's like i've been wanting to just get on a bus and just leave and travel just to see the rest of the us, not to mention the world. plus, i've always been the type who wants to volunteer and help people. i've thought about doing this, and i guess since i'm becoming a loser - my mom mentioned it among several ideas like joining the peace corp, coast guard. but anyway - i never left home before and it's a little scary. i'm sure i'll get to meet lots of wonderful people, wanderers and people like me, but it's still something i have to think about. is their anyone who does this or have personal experiences?

hi marlon,

its your resident stalker here again!

i have to major in rocket science just to get a job.

love it! have you thought of going on the comedy circuit lol!!

these last several years it's like i've been wanting to just get on a bus and just leave and travel just to see the rest of the us, not to mention the world.

how refreshing for a us citizen (no disrespect intended!) to even know there is a world out there. :d

volunteer and help people......is their anyone who does this or have personal experiences?

yes me! actually i volunteer on a regular basis. precisely 40 hours a week and i get a lunch break too. it is called work. when you see my pay packet at the end of the month, you will see why i see it as volunteering. ;)

my advice to you is do what you feel is right. yes these things can be a little scary but hey, so can starting a new job.

as you are such an animal lover, why not offer your services in that field. erm i mean "area" as a field would suggest cows which could lead you to working in an abattoir, noooooooo!!!

in all seriousness, just go for it, hop on a greyhound bus (i think thats what you call them) and do something you like or are good at. better to have tried and failed than to not try at all eh! also think of all those lovely karmic points you will clock up!

anyway if all else fails you can come back home and begin your rocket science course. hey, i can even lend you some of my old books on the subject. ;)

good luck with whatever you choose.

matt :)
