Important: Significant Solar Eclipse on July 22 2009!

so apparently, this century's most significant solar eclipse is going to happen this july 22nd (also the cusp between cancer and leo). for anybody who believes in the legitimacy of the consciousness field and earth changes leading up to the 2012 events, this upcoming solar eclipse should hold a special significance. history will show, solar eclipses are shrouded with increased societal activity and/or turmoil/changes. being that this is the only full solar eclipse (and most significant) leading up to december 21st 2012, i believe some drastic changes will happen that will leave their imprint on the planet.

we know iran is still unsettled after the great protests. we know north korea is threatening missile strikes on the us and our allies. we know a socialized healthcare bill in the us is in the process of being drafted.

statistically, there has been more geologic activity during times of solar eclipse. perhaps a great earthquake or volcanic eruption? storms?

if we truly have an effect on the planet as the result of a consciousness field, i believe we can positively influence the negative events in our world.

please follow the events leading up to this moment and comment! perhaps a few of us can sway these events into a positive direction...

i think the path the eclipse will follow is interesting. by path, i mean the areas of the world in which it will be visible. i don't know whether the effects are greater in areas of visibility or not, but it makes sense that it would be. from wikipedia:

the solar eclipse that will take place on wednesday, july 22, 2009 will be a total eclipse of the sun with a magnitude of 1.080 that will be visible from a narrow corridor through northern india, eastern nepal, northern bangladesh, bhutan, the northern tip of myanmar, central china and the pacific ocean, including the ryukyu islands, marshall islands and kiribati. totality will be visible in many cities such as surat, varanasi, patna, thimphu, chengdu, chongqing, wuhan, hangzhou and shanghai, as well as over the three gorges dam. a partial eclipse will be seen from the much broader path of the moon's penumbra, including most of south east asia and north-eastern oceania.
