why is that the general conscience amongst people who are very fortunate? i mean i see people make fun of poor people everyday and look down at them. they blame that person for being poor and usually throws crap at them. i personally don't a lot of money or wealthy, but i have my family. it just hurtful to see people make fun of people who are less fortunate. should not they be grateful that they are in a comfortable position in life and consider themselves lucky for being so fortunate. but no, people would rather see poor people completely die to leave the world with only the rich who are just as spineless as a snake. people who do not care for others but how much profit they will make.
it is sad to see. especially in school. where kids cannot afford the phat farms or jordans. jesus said that the meek would walk the earth. he said to love dye neighbor. love your enemies, the poor, the prostitutes. anybody who is human. but this society cannot even love a innocent person in turmoil. yes some people who are poor carved the road for their downfall(wasting money on drugs or stupid financial spendings), but they are human. they make mistakes. it is not easy being successful in america or anywhere on this planet when people want to bring you down when they see you have reached to high. the jealously. some people are born into poorness and die poor. but at least they tried their best and tried to be something.
people think you have to give millions of dollars to the charity to contribute back the world. that is why some people view poor people as worthless. they think they can't contribute anything because this is world built on power, money, and material things. say if you don't have any of those, you are written off. but giving back is not only about that. they do the jobs most wouldn't dare to do. they spread love amongst those they are close to.
but people don't see that. money is not everything. money never buys love. no matter how many times people try to lie to themselves.

fashion is a scam. you're smarter for buying something less stylish that will actually last.
as for being poor, it sounds like you may be in high school, right? high school isn't really life yet. it's like being in a court, where everybody is either a prince or princess - or jester or slave. it's four years of the most intense 2nd-chakra activity anybody should ever have to endure.
don't worry - the popular kids where i went to school all had lots of fun before graduation, but then life generally sucked for them after. they either wound up pregnant, or found out they were gay, or joined the army and came back messed up psychologically, or just found themselves in a really boring job and now all they talk about is how great they were in high school. a couple even died and i'm pretty sure two or three wound up in jail.
real people aren't that cruel. just like palace courts, high school tends to bring out the worst in all of us.

the wonderer, i know, i see this too. i suspect that those that can not show their compassion for another, in what ever condition that "child of god" is in, that they have a fear within their selfs of not being able to reveal their real true heart. perhaps, they may be rich in $$ (material) items, but poor in heart, their love is weak and they do not know how to truly see another lifes beauty as it is.
why is that ....
people who do not care for others but how much profit they will make.

each life is a great light of the love of god. no man made item can change this, be it the riches of the material world or the poors of the lands. for the light of this world is us, all of us. our costumes are only for the show and not about our real souls.
thanks for the post

i am not advocating ridicule of another for having less material wealth than oneself, however i have observed that the struggle with money that many experience has more to do with a lack of recognition of opportunity, and lack of knowledge or willingness to put that opportunity to its best use, rather than a lack of opportunity itself.

tenet nosce, true for those with the courage and strength to meet these opportunities. however, when one is presented with an opportunity, one may consider it a challenge, struggle rather than the opportunity that another can see it for.

with that said, it does take ones "free will" and self trust to act on these opportunities. loving encouragement and support will always go a long way to help.

i find myself wondering what direction you look in when you make these "observations."
for example, we now have a class of americans who were promised a degree of financial security in exchange for military service. because of a profound lack of integrity shown toward these americans who have served their country, these people are homeless, brain damaged, debilitated. they are not being compensated as promised. these vets have earned these opportunities fair and square. yet our country -- our support the troops country -- will not take care of these people.
what opportunity are these brain damaged vets missing?

to me sometimes it seems that high school didn't end at high school. it's just the bigger fish going to a bigger pond and not hacking another level of high school maturity. my friends father once told me that the friends you make in high school are the types you keep as you grow older. if you look how the most things work, it's pretty true. and it's not just money. it's the clicks, the have nots and haves. it's just on a bigger level.
