View Full Version : Help for preventing/reversing pineal gland calcification

recently with the dw video he mentions calcification of the peneal gland (calcium buildup in the peneal gland) as being the mark of the beast. i began to wonder about how one may go about removing or preventing that calcification. i know there had been another thread on this concerning the fluoride issue but i don't believe any one got down to how to possibly reverse this issue once it has begun. i remembered a bit from my natural cures sites that concerns dissolving bladder and kidney stones, both of which are filled with mineral deposits.
first lets get down to what causes it. first of course is an acidic system. the basic story of this (and i'm sure you've all heard this) that your body prefers to be slightly alkaline. that is to say that your body to be in peak condition needs to have a slightly alkaline ph. not in all of the parts (obviously urine is meant to be acidic, and an alkaline situation there can lead to an infection) need to be alkaline but overall you want your body ph to be high. things to watch out for concerning this: diets high in fat and protein, these are acid forming. most green veggies are alkaline forming, and even most citrus. check online for a list of what food items will help alkalize your body. since your body prefers to be alkaline, it will work hard to keep it that way! that means that things such as calcium and all your major minerals will be depleted to fight an acidic condition in your body. i wasn't able to find any websites to directly link acidity to the formation of calcium salts/crystals in the body, but i know i've read it before.
of course avoiding bad foods like refined sugars, fats, flours and grains is always a good idea. generally these items have been riped of any genuine food value and left with only the worst parts. then they have to go in and 'fortify' what they've taken out.
all of this is of course basic and common sense in the new age circles, since we know the food industry isn't concerned about our well being, we have to watch what we put in our mouths.
the main part of this that i wanted to share was the evidence that magnesium and zinc help to dissolve kidney and bladder stones (which are primarily made of calcium crystals). you can do a search on natural cures to see this. magnesium is a wonder mineral and important for many biological processes and has been linked to super effective immune response, enzyme interactions etc. i don't have the time to list all the possible things this one mineral handles, look it up and you will find out for yourself. you will also find out that this mineral tends to be depleted in most every one. being a metallic salt, its water soluble and is passed from the body rather quickly. to make matters worse, its hard to absorb and retain just for this reason. zinc is a little easier to get a hold of and build therapeutic levels in the body and this is important because magnesium will work against zinc slightly and deplete it if you aren't taking enough.
some quick suggestions for increasing your magnesium:
one of the best tricks i've heard for getting your magnesium levels up.. taking a bath! that is to say, taking a bath with epsom salts which is.. magnesium sulfate. since your skin has such a wide surface area, you take in more than you might be able to by mouth. magnesium salts tend to be laxative, and therefore the main reason they are hard to put in the body, they flush themselves out before they can do any good. going through the skin is an easy way to bypass this effect. there are other types of magnesium salts that can be taken orally, as well as used in the bath. again, do your research and look up magnesium, you won't be sorry.
other suggestions for helping to remove calcium buildup and help the peneal gland
prayer: always a staple of spiritual life, while asking for help you can also ask for assistance in healing this essential gland for the third eye.
visualization: access your own healing power by envisioning your peneal gland as a pine cone or any cone shaped object. see the calcium built up around it, and then any way you can see fit to blast that calcium off your third eye. see it as clear and clean, bright and shining, without obstruction etc.
of course, while i cant claim any truth, my intuition is telling me that the very act of being spiritual, creative and connected is the kind of work that will keep the gland active and healthy.
any way, i hope this helps, more info would be appreciated from those who have more knowledge than i do. take what you need, leave the rest.
blessings abound in the thankful heart!

this is a great start on this topic, ewhaz. as soon as i heard david talk about the pineal gland being the important key to spirituality, i started taking notes.
hope more will share what other information might be available on this topic.
in addition to the important supplements you mentioned, i'm wondering if there are homeopathic tinctures that are designed to strengthen and decalcify the pineal. i will look into this and share whatever information i can find.

thanks for that ewhaz!
at the expo there were a couple of other suggestions david made. he said yoga is really good for the pineal. as well he said hanging upside down from a bar and doing situps helped. get out the jungle gyms!

i can attest to the effects of flouride. used to live in a city where the water contained flouride. now, live in the country where our water is drawn from a spring fed well. there's so much water here that every time there's a sustained rain or snow melt, a spring in the basement will bubble up.
it didn't take long for major spiritual events to occur in my life after getting away from the flouride. i won't give examples here because i would be typing all day and no one wants to read all that.
but i will say that i got away from flouride back around 2002. about a year afterwards i kept having the strange sensation of tingling, almost like tickling on my forehead. it was persistent and would not go away! it would drive me batty. i still get it but not near as often.
i would ask so many people what that meant and no one had a clue. the occurrences never made any sense until i watched david's newest video. and now i'm convinced he's on to something.
magnesium is also good for plants. if you grow any of your own food (which i think everyone should, even if it's just a few herbs or baby lettuce on a windowsill) most plants will benefit from a weak solution of epsom salts with its regular watering. stronger, more vigorous plants mean even more nutrients for you. why consume a weak plant that's been stressed by chemical fertilizers?
in my opinion no one needs supplements or added pills. just watch your diet and eat as natural as possible. leave the big cities, grow some veggies and try to obtain your own water source.
epsom salts are indeed excellent for the skin. if your dog has itchy feet, draw a few inches of water in the bath, add some epsom salts and make the dog stand in the water for 10 minutes. of course it's good for people too with sore muscles or skin problems. even bug bites don't itch as much after a good salt bath.

as it is all about ph 7 ( ascidity of haelthy tissue in an organisme ) mms= sodium chloriet.... would do to clear out all the tissue, bacteria aso below the ph value of 7.
i would love to know what it would do to clear the pineal gland of calcification.

hi, jenny
thought i would add a bit more information for those interested in exotic supplements.
"mms" stands for "miracle mineral supplement. as mentioned by jenny it is indeed sodium chlorite. when mixed in proper proportions with an acid such as citric or acetic acid (vinegar) it time-releases chlorine dioxide into the body. among doing other valuable things it is death on acid-based pathogens.
mms has to be used according to instructions as too much too soon can cause upsets such as flu-like symptoms (i.e., the so-called resulting herxheimer reaction from massive bacterial die-off inducing temporary toxic overload stress.)
i've used it -- unwisely, i might add -- friends did the same and had digestive reactions that discouraged them. just a drop or two mixed into few ounces of water at the start.
i don't know if it will de-calcify the pineal gland or not, but i think it is good stuff to have around.

regarding the baths: here's some info on taking sea salt baths
[please email for url]
raw foods are generally more alkaline than cooked foods.
raw foodists are pretty well read on this kind of info; find a good raw food site and read/ask questions.

lots of good information in this thread.
i did some googling today and found some additional tips for maintaining a healthy pineal gland. foods: wheat germ, olive oil, pineapple juice, parsley and alfalfa sprouts are recommended. herbs: wood betony and st. johnswort. supplements: lecithin (research has shown that lecithin is found in higher quantities in the pineal gland than in any other part of the body.)
also good for pineal gland stimulation are the color violet and sunshine (bare eyes without sunglasses - but don't look directly at the sun;) )
there are homeopathic tinctures available to aid in clearing the pineal gland of calcification. (send me a pm if you would like the website url for more information on this.)

ok art, after that last post i just had to include a link to this thread again. if you do a search for sun gazing on google you will find a number of references. one of the hrm videos has some really good information regarding the pineal gland and it's interaction with the pituitary and i believe the hypothalamus gland where it talks about the interaction of these 3 glands with one another in a form of human photosynthesis. pretty interesting stuff. i have no doubt that the exercising of this gland in this way is probably one of the most beneficial therapies for it.

hello!
really interesting topic!
here are some info about the 7th chakra:
also called the crown chakra, associated nervous system structure: the brain
associated endocrine structure: the pineal gland,
associated colour; violet,
associated physiological and spiritual characteristics: intuition, cognition, spirituality.
an advice: try to be "well" in your lower chakras and ascend chronologically, don´t only work on the higher chakras. this may cause you to be "out of touch" with the world. we all have to live on earth here and now and bring heaven down here, and show people what it means to be spiritual. please, stay grounded, work at your own pace, and be happy:=)
ways to stay grounded:
yoga, walks in nature, meditate on the lower chakras, exercise, massage, be with your breath, feel your body, healthy diet.
"take with you what you like, and leave the rest behind"
peace to all
light to all
love to all
ps. what david referred as the third eye is what i believe to be the 6th chakra, and it is associated with the pituitary gland, aka the master gland.
for info about the chakras, meditations, please pm me.

i remember reading about sun gazing and since the eyes are directly connected to it it makes sense that sunlight would help it. sadly though, sungazings not for me, there is no place i can be where my feet are on the ground and still able to see the sun just before it goes down.

great posts everyone. thank you.
place your right hand on your heart center and your left hand on your third eye. see your pineal gland or center of head being clear and luminous with all the colors of the rainbow. see the energy flowing out of the back of your head and thru the back of your heart see the same luminosity and beautiful explosion of color in your heart center allow it to come out the front of your heart and into your right hand thru to your other arm and out your left hand and back into the pineal....it creates a circuit to clear the pineal gland and the heart.
to my surprise the first time i tried this one i could see, feel and sense the clearing after less than a minute.
much love to you all and thank you

i find that if i go without food for a bit (which is rare, lol) i start to feel more spiritual and even experience feelings of elation. so maybe this helps the pineal gland, i'm not sure- but if saints, monks and yogis practice fasting then there surely must be something in it. i must say, i don't follow a healthy diet as the refined carbs, etc will be a task to cut down (i have a sweet tooth), though i love really good salads. it is all excellent advice here though. it is certainly healthier to eat more foods which release energy gradually into the body.
spirulina is a good superfood, it contains iron, zinc and other good things such as magnesium (as do green leafy salads such as spinach and watercress).
do dead sea salts have the same effect as epsom salts? i love wallowing in the bath, and if i use these salts i wonder whether any contain atoms belonging to the ancient saintly essenes. perhaps the wonderful aura of these deeply spiritually people left an impression on the dead sea salts for me to bathe in thousands of years later. :d
i did however eat toothpaste as a little girl (i liked the spearmint flavour), so that couldn't have done me much good. :o
i'll have to go out to tomorrow and get some fluoride-free toothpaste for the boys!
does boiling tap water destroy/ disperse the fluoride?
i mentioned fluoride to my boys father yesterday and he said that it does, but i couldn't find anything on google just now to confirm this......

so many people in north america have developed thyroid imbalances especially women. i am wondering if anyone has any info to share on balancing this gland. all the glands of the system work so closely together.
thank you

snowflower, regarding the thyroid gland, do a web search for 'coconut oil'. i believe it's the healthiest oil there is and when they took it out of our diets is when the thyroid problems started.
ameliejolie, about the flouride-no it cannot be boiled away (afaik).
i use raw coconut oil to brush my teeth. that coconut oil is good for so many things.
back to the salt baths, i've read to take one during the full moon and one during the new moon. one is supposed to energize you while the other is supposed to draw out impurities.

it can't be true that fats are bad for you when they are so essential to health. cholesterol is needed by every cell in the body, esp the brain.
of course, while i cant claim any truth, my intuition is telling me that the very act of being spiritual, creative and connected is the kind of work that will keep the gland active and healthy.
i'm sure this is true and there is a whole line of inquiry and evidence that points to a portion of the brain which gets activated during strong spiritual experiences, and once activated remains permanently open. it's not the pineal but some structures in the right temporal lobe. i would think a major reason for the calcification of the pineal is underuse.
you know, use it or lose it.
it could help explain why when people have a strong enough experience it never completely fades and they have access to higher states. it's cuz there brain works.
also good for pineal gland stimulation are the color violet and sunshine (bare eyes without sunglasses - but don't look directly at the sun )
well, it's called sun gazing and i've practiced it mildly for a couple years, but you don't look long and you only do it when the sun is almost set. you can do it at sunrise also, but i'm never awake.
ewhaz, i am curious where you live but i think you should still do it. without your feet on the ground. the sunlight and your eyes are the main ingredient.
interesting, i bought one of those tilt tables so you can hang upside down, for my back, and now i find i'm helping my pineal.

after watching david's latest video i had a question.
do other primates, mamals or animals have a pineal and if they do, how does it function ?
i have read that the human brain, at its base, still has an older reminant of a reptilian brain.

i have the same problem as ewhaz. even though i live in sunny sydney, i am in the city center and am blocked by high buildings for both sunrise and sunset. the only sunshine available to me is throughout the day and is way too bright to be looking at directly. i have, however, been taking off the sunglasses:cool: and letting my 'bare' eyes soak up more sunlight:)
when i lived on the southwest coast of florida for several years, i gazed at hundreds of sunsets on the beautiful gulf of mexico. awesome! and very therapeutic.

you don't way whether you work 8 hour shifts. it sounds like you work 12 hour shifts. if you do, you could sungaze on your days off. i don't find it possible to do every day. that's the idea, but you still benefit from what you can do. not hat i sungaze much - mostly i forget. also, something you can do is look at the sun with your eyelids closed. of course, i have no data as to whether it helps the pineal, but its a technique i was taught many years ago to decrease sun sensitivity of the eyes.

alright so what do we have so far?
vitamin supplements..
magnesium, vitamin d and k,
working through the eyes...
sun gazing, color therapy (voilet or purple)
physical...
inverting, yoga
spiritual...
use it or loose it, visualization, prayer, meditation.
other...
detox, alkalinity, sea salt baths, epson salt baths,
and to answer amelie
sea salts are far better for you than normal salt, i would use it for replacing table salt in your food etc. it is more minerally dense than table salt and therefore helps to supply your body with the necessary minerals. as far as soaking in bath, i don't see the problem with using both. the higher concentration of magnesium in the epson salts will help it soak in through the skin, the sea salt doesn't have enough magnesium to get to therapeutic levels in bath water. the sea salt has lots of trace minerals, which is good, but its in very small amounts.

great things! could you explain the purple violet color therapy? does that mean having purple clothes? any hints for the novice?there are several ways to do this, basically anything that brings that color into your consciousness, so wearing purple clothes would certainly qualify.
i painted the walls of my bedroom a purple/violet color, because of it's calming, (but still high vibrational) effect.
there are also foods that are conducive to energizing and awakening this center, like;
* dark bluish colored fruits: blueberries, red grapes, black berries, raspberries, etc.
* liquids: red wines and grape juice
* spices: lavender, poppy seed, mugwort

i think we can add reflexology to the list. most of the reflexes for the glands are on the toes it is easy to find foot charts on the internet or at the health food store... you can also tell by pressing around on your big toe to find the sore spots. the gland spots are usually painful for most people. i was taught to press for 15 seconds five times everyday. of course taking a bit of time to do the whole foot every night can do wonders.

i am working my way through the law of one material. i came to this just now, session 15, which i thought was so relevant to this discussion:
questioner: how does an individual go about balancing himself? what is the first step?
ra: i am ra. the steps are only one; that is, an understanding of the energy centers which make up the mind/body/spirit complex. this understanding may be briefly summarized as follows. the first balancing is of the malkuth, or earth, vibratory energy complex, called the red-ray complex. an understanding and acceptance of this energy is fundamental. the next energy complex, which may be blocked is the emotional, or personal complex, also known as the orange-ray complex. this blockage will often demonstrate itself as personal eccentricities or distortions with regard to self-conscious understanding or acceptance of self.
the third blockage resembles most closely that which you have called ego. it is the yellow-ray or solar plexus center. blockages in this center will often manifest as distortions toward power manipulation and other social behaviors concerning those close and those associated with the mind/body/spirit complex. those with blockages in these first three energy centers, or nexi, will have continuing difficulties in ability to further their seeking of the law of one.
the center of heart, or green-ray, is the center from which third-density beings may springboard, shall we say, to infinite intelligence. blockages in this area may manifest as difficulties in expressing what you may call universal love or compassion.
the blue-ray center of energy streaming is the center which, for the first time, is outgoing as well as inpouring. those blocked in this area may have difficulty in grasping the spirit/mind complexes of its own entity and further difficulty in expressing such understandings of self. entities blocked in this area may have difficulties in accepting communication from other mind/body/spirit complexes.
the next center is the pineal or indigo-ray center. those blocked in this center may experience a lessening of the influx of intelligent energy due to manifestations which appear as unworthiness. this is that of which you spoke. as you can see, this is but one of many distortions due to the several points of energy influx into the mind/body/spirit complex. the indigo-ray balancing is quite central to the type of work which revolves about the spirit complex, which has its influx then into the transformation or transmutation of third density to fourth density, it being the energy center receiving the least distorted outpourings of love/light from intelligent energy and also the potential for the key to the gateway of intelligent infinity.
the remaining center of energy influx is simply the total expression of the entity’s vibratory complex of mind, body, and spirit. it is as it will be, “balanced” or “imbalanced” has no meaning at this energy level, for it gives and takes in its own balance. whatever the distortion may be, it cannot be manipulated as can the others and, therefore, has no particular importance in viewing the balancing of an entity.

hey you pineal-gland-using people,
i'm right in the middle of editing david's the 2012 enigma and i've had a great time reading about the pineal gland information and all the pine cones symbolism all over the world, especially the ones in the vatican. cracked me up.
i do realize that i've had many, many experiences with my pineal gland acting up suddenly and, with me, it's usually in the form of sounds, fantastic sounds, so, when it suddenly acts up, i usually stop what i'm doing, shut off the lights and just go with the sound journey, where-ever it goes. i treasure those moments.
soon i'll finish the editing work and send it on to david, who will post it in his blog, i presume, after checking it out himself. a big shout-out to megan ("meganarline"), who did the hard work of transcribing it. she did it in just a day and a half. wow, you go girl, megan.
so, given the importance of the pineal gland, i'd like to ask those of you who have had good, inspiring pineal-gland-based experiences to share them with us on the board, if you will, so that some of us can be inspired to act in the right ways that supports/enhances one's own pineal gland activation for greater, smoother spiritual advancement as the 2012 event horizon rapidly approaches.

i stopped drinking tap and went strictly to spring water...dog,cat and plants as well.:) i also use colloidal silver on a regular basis and i believe i started that in response to the information i gained that led me to abandon fluoride and tap water.
i enjoy working with crystals, so here are some that can activate the pineal gland: rhodonite, amethyst wands, pietersite, moonstone, purple tourmaline and ruby just to name a few. you can hold them, meditate with them, wear them or some can even be used as elixirs. feel free to send me an email for more suggestions and i would be glad to send you a list.
hope this helps someone!

i don't want to put a damper on our enthusiasm in this thread for maintaining healthy, uncalcified pineal glands. but tonight i had a conversation about this topic with my son who is a neuro-radiologist.
radiologists use the pineal gland as a marker in brain scans, and he told me that just about everyone's pineal gland exhibits some calcification. i asked at what point the calcification appears in general and he said that in many cases by the age of 5 it is beginning to appear
so, i guess most of us are dealing with calcification in some form or other. preventative measures may help to prevent more calcification, and some of the suggestions in this thread may be helpful in reversing the condition that may already exist.
sharing the love and light and information for healthy pineals,

the sensation on your forehead is part of your spiritual awakening. it's your third eye having energy flowing through it. if you meditate you should focus on it to try and make it stronger. i had an awakening in 1984 and have had that sensation, along with my crown and throat chakras and the temples on my head every day since then. with the advent of my beloved soulmate into my life, my heart chaka has exploded also and is now very active.
fluoride is very destructive to many systems in the body, as most people here probably know. the way to get rid of it is to avoid consuming it, basically. the body will naturally flush it out over time.
as to the calcification of the pineal gland with aging, i don't have a solution for that yet. i do know that fluoride is strongly attracted to calcium, and one study has shown that by the time a person is aged, their pineal gland is heavily contaminated with fluoride due to the calcium deposits there. i don't know yet how to avoid the deposits in the first place.

certain kinds of clays contain large amounts of magnesium and have been shown to bind strongly with toxins in the digestive tract. i don't know if this helps the pineal gland though.

hello spiritwind.
im very interested in what you are saying here:
the sensation on your forehead is part of your spiritual awakening. it's your third eye having energy flowing through it.
i would really like to learn more about this. do you have any sources for this wich you can share? please email me if you like.
ive had this very strong pressure in my forehead for the last 10 years or so. i think it appeared at the same time ive started doing meditation. its growing in intensity and lately it has expanded from my forteeth to my crown chakra, and also to my left arm and my right fot. its there all the time. never ends.
some time ago i also had this very peculiar experience. i had been praying for healing on this matter, and i woke up in the middle of the night with a very painful sensation going from my forhead to the crown chakra. it was very intense. like an electric shock i would imagine, and i feelt numb and emotionless for almost a week after. ive asked healers, meditation teachers, friends and strangers about this, and if ive got an answear, it has been different every time, so i dont really know what to make of it. exept that it has to do with some sort of blockage i belive.
ive found a way of realesing the pressure to a certain point. if not i would have had to use some sort of drug i belive to manage to live with it. its very strenuous and unpleasant.
(yes, that was a lot of information, but ill rather give the whole picture).
im also wondering about how to best deal with this? i feel uncertain about this. i can get some relif from this by meditating on it, but im wondering if it really is the best way to deal with it, since i then focus on the blockage itself. im thinking im might focusing on a distortion, not what is rooting it. if the sensations are distortions of energy. not the energy itself, as ive been told it is. im thinking there might be a better way, and that im wasting time.
much appreciated if spiritworld or anybody else could shed some light on this.

hello, it does sound like you have a blockage of some kind. generally, in my experience, the thing to do is to increase the amount of light coming into your body as much as possible and that will remove the blockage. so, i would intensify my mediation efforts, as well as do things like fasting and yoga to make my body more permiable to this light/energy flow. so, meditation is a must to get rid of the blockage in my opinion.
as to a resource for in formation on these sensations, there are some psychics that i know who have experience with this, but don't know of any written material on it. i have serveral friends who have their chakras flowing energy pretty much constantly, which is what the pressure and tingling sensation is all about. for me, my third eye sensation is distinct from my crown chakra, which are both distinct from the sensation at my temples. what i mean is that i have distinct spots or areas where this tingling and pressure show up, which correspond to the places where chakras are known to exist. i also have the sensation in the palms of my hands, my throat and my heart chakras. sometimes, other chakras light up also. it's all generally part of a spiritual awakening.
your prayers were answered with more energy flow, which is why it was uncomfortable. each time we step up the energy flow in our bodies, it's like stretching a muscle or something, there is discomfort with it, but it's necessary in order to handle the energy flow better. more energy flow means that you blockages will be dispelled. hope this helps.

do other primates, mamals or animals have a pineal and if they do, how does it function ?
i have read that the human brain, at its base, still has an older reminant of a reptilian brain.
yes they do, all vertebrates have a pineal gland and if you know anyone with a pet iguana then look on top of its head for a tiny hard funny looking scale, it is literally a third eye! weve been taught in zoology it mainly detects light.
and indeed we do have a "reptilian brain" its our brainstem, wich includes the cerebellum, pons, hypothalamus, thalamus, etc.just google the "lower brain" and im sure you will find something.
oh and lets not forget about tree nuts! like almonds, brasil nuts, pecans, walnuts. all good sources of magnesium....and for the fats not all fats are bad, the only ones that are are saturated and trans fats, monounsaturated fats are very important for the heart, make sure these outnumber the saturated fats when you are buying stuff, these are also in tree nuts, olive oil and sunflower seeds to name a few

basically, from what i have been reading, the way to avoid calcification of soft tissue is to avoid ingesting fluoride and by increasing the amount of magnesium we consume. good magnesium sources can be found in many different foods as well as via clays or supplements. i assume that doing this will also avoid calcification of the pineal gland.

magnesium is definitely one of the most under-rated, but also one of the most important minerals. the fda recommends about 400mg/day but many health practitioners recommend up to 1000mg/day.
if you buy the cheapest form of magnesium your body will absorb very little or none of it, so it's also important to get the right kind. the most absorbable forms are magnesium citrate, glycinate taurate, or aspartate, although magnesium bound to kreb cycle chelates (malate, succinate, fumarate) are also good.
avoid magnesium carbonate, sulfate, gluconate, and oxide. they are poorly absorbed (and the cheapest and most common forms found in supplements). side effects from too much magnesium include diarrhea, which can be avoided if you switch to magnesium glycinate
one of the best and quickest ways to increase the levels of magnesium in your body is taking a hot bath with epsom salts (magnesium sulfate)
there is an excellent article about the benefits of magnesium by dr. mark hyman here. (http://www.ultrawellness.com/blog/magnesium-relaxation-mineral)

well, that's what the mainstream advice says...i think they are covering up for the huge mistake they made in advising us for 5 decades that trans fats were a health food when in fact it causes metabolic havoc including cancer.
trans fats and saturated fats should not be lumped together like that. trans fats are a frankenfood, whereas human life has been sustained with saturated fats for untold millenia.

posed by spiral of light:
radiologists use the pineal gland as a marker in brain scans, and he told me that just about everyone's pineal gland exhibits some calcification. i asked at what point the calcification appears in general and he said that in many cases by the age of 5 it is beginning to appear
thats interesting. it was mentioned in a book i read once that before the age of 5 the pineal gland is general soft, whereas after this age, due to too much "left-brained" and false teaching it becomes hardened, hence the source of the term "hard-headed".
i think its also important for everyone to keep an open mind about things we can do to reverse the damage of calcification, etc, despite what mainstream doctors may say.
i have an uncle who managed to reverse the damage done to his heart by a very serious heart attack, just through a special diet. he and my aunt would never have known about this diet if it wasn't for my aunt's extensive research. when i found out about this through my mother, i was amazed. it also reminded me of a film i had seen recently (synchronicity?) called "and first do no harm" with meryl streep, about a boy who suffered from epilepsy but was cured through a special "ketogenic" diet.
so please remember people- to always keep an open mind.
no matter what the "experts" may tell you.

hi everyone,
not sure if fluoride is added to bottled water anywhere else around the world, but here in australia it may happen within 12 months. apparently there'll be an option to choose between bottles that contain fluoride and those that don't - but i wonder how long this option will last... this news article was added to an australian news site today:
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23416046-421,00.html
tooth-protecting fluoride could be added to australian bottled water within 12 months.
the national food regulator will consider overturning a ban on mineral additives after this week releasing an "assessment report" on the controversial proposal.
the australian beverages council has asked food standards australia for permission to add fluoride to bottled water and water coolers.
if allowed, manufacturers could offer consumers a choice between fluoridated and non-fluoridated water.
fluoride has been added to melbourne's tap water for more than 30 years, which the australian dental association credits with a steady decrease in tooth decay.
however, the popularity of bottled water - australians spent more than $627 million drinking it last year - has since been blamed for a reversal of this trend.
tony gentile, executive director of the australian bottled water institute, said it was about offering alternatives.
"there is a huge area of regional australia that doesn't have access to fluoridated water, and we want to give people the option.
"for every (manufacturer) who advertises the fact their water has fluoride, i'm sure there will be another advertising that their bottles don't," he said.
anti-fluoridation groups have thrown their support behind the plan, claiming it could stop campaigns to fluoridate tap water.
philip robertson from water quality australia, which protests against tap fluoridation, supports the proposal.
"we have got no problem at all with fluoridated bottled water because it allows people an option," he said.
public submissions on the bottled water proposal are open until april 30.

according to dr. luke:
"in conclusion, the human pineal gland contains the highest concentration of fluoride in the body. fluoride is associated with depressed pineal melatonin synthesis by prepubertal gerbils and an accelerated onset of sexual maturation in the female gerbil. the results strengthen the hypothesis that the pineal has a role in the timing of the onset of puberty. whether or not fluoride interferes with pineal function in humans requires further investigation."
"it is remarkable that the pineal gland has never been analysed separately for f because it has several features which suggest that it could accumulate f. it has the highest calcium concentration of any normal soft tissue in the body because it calcifies physiologically in the form of hydroxyapatite (ha). it has a high metabolic activity coupled with a very profuse blood supply: two factors favouring the deposition of f in mineralizing tissues. the fact that the pineal is outside the blood-brain barrier suggests that pineal ha could sequester f from the bloodstream if it has the same strong affinity for f as ha in the other mineralizing tissues."
in other words, it's normal to have calcium in the pineal gland, but because fluoride is strongly attracted to calcium, it goes straight to this gland when it is ingested. the result, according to dr. luke, is that they functionality of the gland is impaired by fluoride contamination. there is much more information available on the fluoride action network's website.

cacao is the best natural food source of the following nutrients:
magnesium: cacao seems to be the #1 source of magnesium of any food. magnesium is one of the great alkaline minerals. it helps to support the heart, brain, and digestive system (it fights constipation). magnesium is also important for building strong bones. this is likely the primary reason women crave chocolate during the monthly cycle. magnesium balances brain chemistry, builds strong bones, and is associated with more happiness. magnesium is the most deficient major mineral on the standard american diet (sad); over 80% of americans are chronically deficient in magnesium! cacao has enough magnesium to help reverse deficiencies of this mineral.

amazing thread here folks! i think there are some great ideas here, many of which are part of my "routine" as it were. but there is one thing we're missing in this thread.
the pineal gland regulates melatonin right? it activates production of melatonin and its other goodies when it gets dark out. when actual light stops filtering through the eyeball itself to the inside of the head and the pineal gland registers this it begins its sequence of chemical production to put us into the appropriate state for sleep, dreams, healing, and dreamtime work.
unfortunately, most of us don't get enough sleep to get past the recounting the day and healing the body phases of the sleep-cycle, so do not reach the deeper states where we do dreamtime spiritual work. however, we've covered getting enough sleep in this thread.
we've also covered getting enough light, with sun-gazing.
what we haven't covered is getting enough dark! i think this is likely the biggest key in what is occurring with our pineal glands. since the electrical revolution (hard to call it that knowing about tesla, but that's another story, eh?!) the amount of dark we take in has decreased dramatically. there are electric lights on all the time, night-lights, street-lights, computer screens, heck, some people even sleep with their tvs on! what is all of this lack of natural darkness doing to our pineal glands? it has to be disrupting its function terribly, and would not the kind of atrophy implied easily be manifest as calcification?
here is my other support for this idea: the sarcophagus in the king's chamber of the great pyramid, where initiates lay themselves down, were covered with the heavy stone lid, and left in the dark for three days. is this right? hasn't it been said that they who spend time in the darkness will come to see the light?
apparently, extended periods of time in darkness, varying from days to weeks, is the #1 therapy for knocking the crap off of your pineal and getting it back up to proper functioning! hopefully all the rest of the ideas presented here can help ameliorate this condition, but i sense that being in natural rhythm would be predominant factor toward a healthy pineal, and dare i say probably a lot more too.
yes, i dare say it!
not that i've got time to bop off to a dark cave for a few days, what with work and a six-year-old and all, so i think i'll keep up on the rest of these ideas as well, particularly just being conscious of the pine-cone opening. like david said, don't underestimate the power of consciousness!
love, blessings, and abundance!

since i learned that raw cacao is the best source of magnesium i ordered some and found a great way to consume it. i got the raw, organic cacao "nibs" which are basically just de-shelled beans. i put the beans in a coffee grinder and ground it until it was a fine powder. and then i steeped the powder in a french press for a bit, added some raw dried cane juice, and wah-la! it tastes just like chocolate milk!!! what could be better than chocolate milk that is good for you? apparently this stuff has 30 times more antioxidants than green tea!
important:
do not boil it, cook it, or roast it because it corrupts the complex nutrition the cacao bean provides.
if you want to make cacao bean tea or hot chocolate don't bring the water to a boil. pour it in at about 160 degrees or so. i am not perfectly sure on the exact temperature but i am about 90% sure.

the best form of magnesium is magnesium chloride. actually from seawater, can be extremely concentrated and made into different products such as massage oil, soap that can be used on your body,on your clothes,on your dishes, or even ingested ( diluted of course)to clean internally. then there are crystalized bath flakes to soak in, full bath or footbath. and in gel form to rub into the skin. i have been using these products since 2005 and am still amazed at how well they work. i am more amazed no one on this site seems to know about them. anyway contact me if you wish to have a link to these products.

geoff, i've just started adding sea salt to my drinking water. i buy the small crystals (rather than the powdered stuff) because i read that the powdered stuff has lost some of its minerals. if you want to use it powdered (as on french fries & popcorn) you should grind it right before using it.
i also make sole (pronounced solay) with it. since i don't have time to soak in a bath of sea salt water, i mix some sole with my shower gel right when i use it. i also rub the sole on my body after taking my shower and when i put it on my face, i see black heads where there were none before so yes this stuff draws out impurities from your pores.
i'm wondering if it matters where we get our sea salt from though-france, spain... or if the color matters-red, grey.... or if the drying method matters. anyone have any info to share? thanks.

hi alex,:)
a little discomfort may actualy help, it helps you to focus on a single thing (your discomfort) allowing all else to fade away. once your attention is singular, you can start working on fooling part your brain that you are going to sleep, this should remove the discomfort. now when your body goes to sleep along with part of your mind, the awareness that is still awake (??pineal gland??) is where the concentration should be focused. you sort of dose that awareness with a boost of energy, if you can find a way to build up that energy continuously and release it periodically as a boost on your awareness you should be able to stabilise somewhat, meaning it replenishes the lucidity. i suspect that the "boost" of energy counter acts the secretion of melatonin by the pineal gland, which is directly related to the amount of light received, so the energy boost should be visualised as a bright light for max efficiency. hope this helps:) .......sylvain.......

hello everyone,
i just found this recipe for possible removal of calcium in the pineal gland.
"removing some excess calcification of the body is possible (which removes) calcification of the pineal gland such as the lime and baking soda remedy.
the lime and baking soda is as follows:
one whole small lime (about 8 teaspoon of lime juice) plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day.
a stronger formula to decalcify the pineal gland is simply one whole lime in 1 glass of water, but the remedy might be too strong, so this can be taken only every other day and some improvements should be noted within the next day's sleep.however, to normalize glandular functions this should be alternated with apple cider vinegar and baking soda."
hope this helps !

"one group of investigators from the pasteur institute and the paris scientific society concluded that [name] contains practically all of the vitamins necessary to sustain life."
"vitamins and minerals: 100 grams of [name] brewed with one liter of water have approximately the following:
potassium: 681.85 mg
magnesium: 167.60 mg
iron: 0.33 mg
sodium: 4.57 mg
phosphorus: 93.00 mg
vitamin c: 2.55 mg

do dead sea salts have the same effect as epsom salts? i love wallowing in the bath, and if i use these salts i wonder whether any contain atoms belonging to the ancient saintly essenes. perhaps the wonderful aura of these deeply spiritually people left an impression on the dead sea salts for me to bathe in thousands of years later. :d
i have done much research on salt baths, i will share a few brief items. it is the only mineral electrically bound and will harmonize the 'spin' of your own electromagnetic field. huge benefit to every part of your being. it is necessary to use unrefined salts, like road salt to achieve the best effect. this usually requires cleaning prior to use but worth the hassle.
salt is like a poultice for toxins and negative energy. i believe from my own research (josephus) that the dead sea is 'dead' because the salt there was used to 'hold' evil or negativity. please do not use it. it is the source of bitterum, an ugly 'drug' the ancients warned against.
i do have more information on this topic of salt, email if you are interested.

hi everyone, i tried to read through most of the responses, so i hope i am not repeating something. i practice kundalini yoga and much focus is given to stiumulating the pineal gland through certain types of breathing, postures, meditations, mantra, but specifically eye position. most of the time, we bring our awareness to the brow point by closing eyes, bringing them in towards the nose and then gently up. you will feel pressure when you do this, so start for short periods of time-also staring at the tip of your nose can be another technique. it is best to do this in the context of a kundalini yoga class, but some experimenting on the sensations and effects will be fun. hope this is helpful. sat nam,

hi everybody. i am a complete newbie to david wilcox and this fantastic website. i feel very excited to be a part of this community. i watched one of davids video's the other night where the issue of the pineal gland calcification was mentioned. i have not been through this whole thread and realise its a bit old (but none the less very vital) so i risk repeating what might have already been suggested. for those of you that might not be aware of the "king" of yoga poses namely "sirsasana" please note that its is very beneficial for cleansing the pineal gland. along with a host of other benefits about as long as your arm. you can read more about it on wikepedia. i always try at the very least do this 1 asana for 2-3 mins or more before my meditations. its looks hard to do but its not really. just give it a bash. its literally mind blowing how powerful it is. naturally combining it with prayer/visualisation will enhance it futher. all the best!
ps - also see someone was asking about the the thyroid - well the "queen" of yoga positions namely sarvangasana (which is also an inverted posn) is very very good for balacning the thyroid and an easy position to perform. xbx

first, i ate the raw cacao nibs by themselves, but they're a bit bitter, so an equal amount of raisins (preferably organic) adds enough sweetness (plus, of course, the added nutrients from grapes, which i've been told by a chinese friend, include b12, which is hard to find in vegetarian sources, much less vegan).
second, i installed black foam core in my bedroom windows and put some over the led clock readout to eliminate residual glow from the clock and city lights, and sleep much better and longer, with no need for melatonin pills at my septuagenarian age.

hi all:
some excellent responses.
1.) salts are crucial for maintaining the balance of electromagnetic energies within the body which one cannot get from table salt. sea salts are very inexpensive and available nowadays almost everywhere: ingest, bathe, etc.
2.) for clarity's sake: the pituitary gland is the third eye chakra. one will have a third eye awakening and crown before pineal gland awakening.
3.) all the thousands of hormones in the body are produced by glands. at birth one is born with a very high concentration of pregnenolone and dhea and it is the only substance in the body which decreases in direct proportion to age. as one meditates, these hormones increase. if one begins late in life to meditate, one may want to supplement. there are many books available on this and both supplements are available at health food stores.
note: if you are young (under 40) it is suggested you not ingest this without a physician's guidance. i began taking this at age 35 and discovered what and why an 18-year old boy thinks about all day long every other moment.
4.) all the glands in the body require balanced oils and this will help your skin as well. as a biochemist, i strongly urge you to get your omega-3,6s,9s from a refrigerated source as otherwise these elements are no longer active. i cannot give you a brand name here, but check to see these are well-balanced and do your research on google.
google is your friend.
5.) vitamins a & d are required for well balanced glands.
6.) sometimes clairvoyants who get out of balance get a thyroid crash (fear), these supplements are available at health food stores.
7.) as previously stated, the dark and the light are your friends. make sure you get real dark at night so that your pineal gland activates and secretes melatonin.
8.) meditation is your friend. you truly need all the brain waves and in particular need to get into delta and theta to achieve the calmness needed to activate your kundalini and chakras.
9.) natural oils: the amygdalla (greek for almond shaped) is very close to the center of the brain and scents can assist bringing energies and calm to the core of the brain.
10.) become familiar with the brain and its parts. bringing light down through the crown is always safe as the crown chakra is always pure. down to the right hemisphere, the left hemisphere, the pituitary, the amygdalla, the pons, the hippocampus, the pineal, etc.
11.) when i became blissed 10 years ago, i used alcohol with a glass or two a night for six months to bring the kundalini down. (i was a single mother and trying to be practical.) reverse corollary to this being obviously, don't drink if you'd like your k to go up.
12.) chocolate: has an ingredient called choline, which the body converts to acetylcholine which women, more so than men, need to keep their feminine hormones balanced. you can also get this ingesting lecithin which is a soy derivative. it is very difficult to find organic soy, imho (in my humble opinion).
there are two other advantages to choline: the brain converts it to acetyl choline which is believed to enhance memory between the dendrites and synapses of the brain in their interstitial spaces.
the other is that it is listed by the yale university school of medicine as the number one ingredient for healthy beautiful skin. this was a number of years ago, whether or not it still holds, i'm not sure.
finally, meditate, meditate, there are so many resources nowadays it's ludicrous. thirty years ago when i began meditation there were almost none.
keep your mind focused on the positive, do service work, think kindly, feel your feelings (to clear your water body - and this is worth a special note: if one doesn't feel pain, one doesn't feel joy, one begins to freeze. if you take off the top of the scale of feelings, you take off the bottom. feelings, the water body, are the fastest of our bodies to heal (faster than the physical or mental), so, feel your feelings). to enter an ocean of bliss, one may cry a river of tears ... on the other side of every emotion is only love.
love.
so, don't be afraid of your feelings, it is close to impossible to experience bliss without feeling your feelings. if you feel all your feelings: all, at the bottom will be only love.
hope this helps.
love and light,
alixandra

need some advice from someone with some knowledge in chemistry. i was using some mouthwash recently and happened to glance at the label on the back of the bottle. the first item listed is the "active ingredient" which is sodium fluoride.
i've done some reading on the net that basically says that fluoride and the pineal gland just don't go together. that is to say fluoride dampens the pineals production of melatonin (and who knows what else).
having lived in a big city and drunk tons of fluoridated city water over my lifetime as well as having never had any 3rd eye experiences, i don't want to reduce the chances of having such experiences any more than possible. what i would like to know is if sodium fluoride is a totally different compound than plain old fluoride? in essence should i stay away from using this product?

it is sodium fluoride that is being added to our water, toothpaste and mouthwash. some toothpaste contain sodium monofluorophosghate. it is a slight variation, but the base molecular structure is the same. there a plenty products on internet that do not contain sf. walmart have only one brand of toothpaste without sf. peace.

does anyone experience or heard some weird (crack) inside your head, i think this is related to pineal gland. is that true?
actually yes i did, but the situation was a little weird.
i had started to use a brainwave generator for the first time and i had it on the chakra ballencing preset. i remember reading some warnings about in the comment section about how if you didnt already have you chakras opened it could really be a shock to your system. one comment even talked about hearing a thunder like crack and in your mind. and at that time i thought i already had them opened since i was doing qi gong and mediation and at times would feel the energy over the browl.
well i was laying there listen to the brainwave generator and once it got to the 6th chakra i heard the "crack". now im almost positive that i prematurely opened my third eye and it probably played a roll in be be diagnosed with schizophrenia about two years later.
i dont know if anyone else has ever used that program but if you do be causious. its not a toy and really there should be more research done becuase i do believe it can be benifical to health it just need to be looked into by someone.

i did hear a great crack noise , but it wasn't by using any devices or programs, in fact i was 12 or 13 y/o when that happen , i got scared , but was afraid to tell my parent's about that, i even was walking with my father in the park when i hear that inside of my head and also keep hearing small cracks after that but not so loud as the first one.
does anyone experience or heard some weird (crack) inside your head, i think this is related to pineal gland. is that true?
yes, i have. in my twenties i used to experience this a few times per year as i was drifting off to sleep. it was a like a gunshot in the third eye. my meditation teacher now says that she associates a sense of "fracturing" with this.

see, ive experienced the "cracking" too. and usually it coincides with me falling asleep and waking up rather rapidly.
my opinion has always been that its actually because i was astrally projecting at that time and i wasn't all the way back inside my body when it started to wake up. so the crack is like a quantum/dimensional sound of "snapping back" into 3d; youre returning super fast and the transition timing wasnt all that great, so you experience that noise.
im not too sure of the actual physics of ir, so i dont know how much it has to do with your pineal gland, though...

i did some googling today and found some additional tips for maintaining a healthy pineal gland. foods: wheat germ, olive oil, pineapple juice, parsley and alfalfa sprouts are recommended. herbs: wood betony and st. johnswort. supplements: lecithin (research has shown that lecithin is found in higher quantities in the pineal gland than in any other part of the body.)
also good for pineal gland stimulation are the color violet and sunshine (bare eyes without sunglasses - but don't look directly at the sun;) )
there are homeopathic tinctures available to aid in clearing the pineal gland of calcification. (send me a pm if you would like the website url for more information on this.)

i have studied some on the function of the pineal gland. what i have learned of this gland, the size of a pea in the center of your head, is that it is made of calcified tissue. the tissue of the pineal gland contains an extremly dense chemical form of calcium. this gland has more calcium per pea size then anywhere else in the body.
from my studies, i have concluded that fluoride is the bugga boo of the pineal. being made of calcified tissue, flouride builds up on your pineal as it does on your teeth and causes fluoridosis. elemental fluoride is not the problem. it is chemical factory fluoride that is damaging. this is found in toothpaste, non-stick pans, your water supply, chemical factory pollution.
flouride has been used to create passivity in humans(esp. in concentration camps) this effect can be seen today with anti-depressants (like prozak) which are flouride based.
this is what i have seen. it also makes sense that powers would seek ways of damaging the "seat of our soul" and that which powers our 3rd eye and crown chakras.
now, if this is the case: how can we treat the pineal for fluoridosis or fluoride build up?

edgar cayce readings 270-33, (questions 9 and 10) and reading 567-1 paragraph 27, suggest that iodine as an atom, (atomic iodine the type made in 1930's by sunkar a. bisey) be used for aiding the pineal gland along with meditation.
9. (q) why do i feel a lack of the faculty for mental concentration?
(a) this is rather the lack of the necessary forces or elements that may be said to be for procreative influences within the body itself. it is the lack, then, of the functionings of the glands in relation to the pineal, the lyden [leydig], the adrenal and their combinations with same. hence, as indicated, it would be necessary for those additions of those factors that make for the balancing of the potash and iodine for the system - or the atomic iodine - to be continued.
i think ec is recommending iodine that was quite safe in his day, bisey's could be used internal up to 100 drops in a day, so be sure any type is safe for internal use. many believe the bisey saline solution manufacture method is lost today, glayds davis indicated that in an interview (i believe).
also good readings on pineal and iodine, see 682-1 18-19, 1436, and 3364.
this type iodine seems to stimulate the pineal when used prior to the meditative activities. john b.

sea kelp appears to be the highest food source for iodine. offering 276% rda in a 1/2 cup serving.
[please email for this link as it was not working and would exceed our limit of 2 per post]]
iodine is essential in the formation of hormones and other cellular functions including the immune system. deficiancies can lead to cognitive impairment(mental retardation), and cretinism(mental and physical growth stunted)
iodine is definatly important to brain function. i compared the effects of iodine on calcification and flouridation and found this connection.
the effect of fluorides on the thyroid gland
the thyroid gland produces hormones which control our metabolism, the rate at which we burn our fuel. deficiency is relatively common, much more than is generally accepted by many medical authorities; a figure of 1:4 or 1:3 by mid-life is more likely. the illness is insidious in its onset and progression. people become tired, cold, overweight, depressed, constipated; they suffer arthritis, hair loss, infertility, atherosclerosis and chronic illness. sadly, it is poorly diagnosed and poorly managed by many doctors in this country.
what concerns me so deeply is that in concentrations as low as 1ppm, fluorides damage the thyroid system on 4 levels:
1. the enzyme manufacture of thyroid hormones within the thyroid gland itself. the process by which iodine is attached to the amino acid tyrosine and converted to the two significant thyroid hormones, thyroxine (t4) and liothyronine (t3), is slowed.
2.........
http://www.greens.org/s-r/36/36-02.html
here's an article talking about detoxing flouride with iodine.
fluoride is one of the four halogens. it is in our water, our toothpastes, our foods and in many medications. fluoride damages enzymes. it causes kidney damage. high dose iodine will displace fluorine, and some of the detox symptoms are similar.
http://http://www.curezone.com/faq/q.asp?a=13,281,2962&q=566
if the pineal is effected by flouride, iodine could remove it. iodine also reacts with calcium and so more research is needed to understand how iodine reacts in the body to heal pineal disruption.

that's interesting info about iodine. it's a long story, but the gist of it is that i found a combination of supplements that seem to work for me, and one of the essentials is kelp tablets. but there is one thing nagging me about it.
i know a chiropractor i consider a gifted healer. one day while i was in his office, he mentioned iodine and thyroid function, and he gave me a simple test by swabbing iodine on the skin somewhere in the inside of my arm. he said that if it was gone in less than (i think it was one week), that indicated i have thyroid problems. it was gone in less than one hour.
the theory is that if the thyroid absorbs iodine rapidly, it means it's having to work overtime to do it's job, or something like that. i've had the regular tests at my family doc's office, i think they were t4 and tsh, and they came back normal. i don't know what any of this means. my father told me long ago that he had an under-active thyroid gland, but he's no longer around for me to ask him about it. can you, ben, or anyone else, help me clear up this mystery? i'd certainly appreciate it.

hi paul there is really lots of information around about how important iodine is for health. every cell must have iodine etc, but few in healthcare point out what happens when we are deficient in iodine.
americans along with most of the world, exception japan, are becoming more deficient in iodine everyday, even government studies point this out. so having average iodine levels aren't much comfort. doctor's brownstein and guy abraham have written very extensivily on the subject if you want to check them out.
the main point for my post was that edgar cayce pointed out a very special type of iodine, in the nascent state iodine, that is an atom, not a molecule or ion, that works in the pineal gland to enhance our ability to better meditate. i listed the readings where he mentioned that type iodine to the various glands but especially the pineal. hope that this is helpful. john b

the thyroid gland is located at the same spot as the throat chakra!
http://z.hubpages.com/u/97745_f260.jpg
in the thyroid gland, iodine bonds with 2 seperate amino acids and creates 2 new chemical hormones called (t3) and (t4). i don't know but i suspect that our thyroid creates other hormones(t's) too. these all depend on chemical reaction to be formed. if a chemical is lacking then the end production slows
there are many influences in our enviroment, especially of the chemical type which can disrupt our internal chemistry lab. any thing from plastic water bottles to deodorant can contain hormone and enzyme disrupting chemicals.
iodine is essential in forming 2 specific hormones. if a person needs to produce more of these 2, then boosting iodine would benefit. i don't think it would be healthy to have too much iodine at once. there must be a balance and a person should look at their situation.
if other hormones are shown low on tests then finding their precursor chemicals would help know how best to feed the area.
for healing: cleanse and nourish:)
oooo ps gemstones are another postive influence on the throat area. i believe the throat color is blue. blue stones i like are lapis lazuli, sapphire, aquamarine, turquoise, blue topaz, sodalite i strongly recommend the lapis lazuli, egyptians said it connected heaven to earth

two comments on the above post
agree with the many chemical types disrupting our bodies, two of the main ones are florides and bromides, espically the bromides now in breads instead of 20 years ago iodine was used in our bread. each slice of bread back then contained the rda of iodine, now we have something that our bodies have not idea what to do with, bromide, so it is substituted often in hormones for iodine.
point of disagreement, the healthcare world is of your opinion that we get plenty of iodine in the salt that they tell us not to use. but in japan where they get hundreds of times our iodine in their diet, and many types of cancer are unknown, (until their diet changes when they move out of japan) our best minds are unable to explain the health difference, lack of most types of cancer.

what kind of iodine is in iodized salt anyway? something from a chemical factory no doubt. the japanese consume large amounts of iodine and a full spectrum of nutrients from sea kelp. 1/2 cup = 276% rda of iodine
kelp is considered the king of all super foods. sea vegtables in general have 7 times more nutrients then land vegtables. they have a larger spectrum of micro nutrients, too. this high nutrition is a result of the oceans being full of everything that ever existed on earth.
the flouride - lodine - pineal connection
http://fluoridealert.org/health/pineal/pineal.gif
"after half a century of the prophylactic use of fluorides in dentistry, we now know that fluoride readily accumulates in the human pineal gland. in fact, the aged pineal contains more fluoride than any other normal soft tissue.
the effect of fluoride on the physiology of the pineal gland. ph.d. thesis
fluoride builds up in pineal gland. could this lead to decreased function?
no where is this process more evident than in the case of the halides, which are all antagonistic elements to iodine, meaning they will impede the absorption of iodine. heavy metals get stored in the same receptors that are looking for iodine. almost all of us are exposed to bromine and fluorine and are storing these toxic halides in our iodine deficient receptors.
these chemicals build up in our iodine starved thyroid and pineal glands
iodine is the only option when it comes to removing these toxic haloids from the thyroid and even the pineal gland where fluoride concentrates, especially when there is a deficiency in iodine in the body. in an age of increasing radioactivity and toxic poisoning specifically with fluoride, chlorine and bromide, and even mercury, iodine is a necessary mineral to protect us from harm for immediately these toxic substances will increasingly flow out of the body in the urine.

here's something to add to all the other suggestions that have been floated: ask your pineal gland to decalcify.
no, srsly. :p i've done this to heal various physical issues -- in meditation, apologize to the bodypart for anything you've done (like saturating it with flouride) that wasn't in its best interest, promise to do better now that you know better. ask it to fix itself, and say that if there's anything it needs you to do to help that along, then let you know somehow.
of course, this requires having a good friendly "working relationship" with your body, but i've found that it can make a lot of difference. the body has an intelligence all its own, so getting it onboard with your wants and needs is a good thing to keep in mind. since peoples' bodies and chemistry are different, what yours needs might not be the same as someone else's... but yours will let you know if you learn how to listen.

hi yes iodine is needed for sure but with kelp know that a lot is required for our bodies to replace that iodine needed, and our sea's are now filled with too much pollution to use the kelp without checking for arsenic and bromide content.
the imaginative forces are for sure a valuable tool in all of our life and certainly when working with the pineal gland. the original point of the posting that i made a few days ago was to say the way back in ec's day, he had recommended iodine in the atomic state for the pineal, maybe to both decalcify and to enhance meditative activities. hope this is helpful john b

i mentioned fluoride to my boys father yesterday and he said that it does, but i couldn't find anything on google just now to confirm this......
from what i've been given to understand, boiling will not do it. distillation will, as well as reverse osmosis filtration systems--3-stage.

what a great thread! i just read the whole thing, so here are a few comments:
sun staring is great! you can do it when the sun is higher if you can stand it. you close your eyes to look straight at it (never with them open). its easier for me to do in winter, i can't stand the brightness in summer because my eyes are light. after, probably less than a minute, you'll start to see the strobe light you may recognize, i think this strobe might have to do with the pineal, as i mostly only see it when meditating - see below.
for the person who asked what was good for thyroid, i heard eleuthero was good for thyroid. you can find it in tea (sometimes its also called siberian ginseng, but its not really a ginseng). you don't want to take it if you're on a decongestant or a beta blocker (it'll make your beta blocker not work). i'm not sure about asthma meds but fast acting ones usually counteract beta blockers too, so you might want to look that up if you take those before you buy any to see if anything might happen there.
about magnesium: if you've got restless legs, you don't want to go upping your dosage of magnesium. (i know, restless legs is a stupid problem, but it can be a pain for your spouse when you kick him all night and it can make it hard to sleep). i've found that if i eat magnesium foods (black beans, spinach, peanuts, or bananas being the only ones i really eat), i have to drink 2 glasses of milk to get enough calcium to counteract all the magnesium so my legs don't jump around. better to try the other tricks for the pineal gland if you're in the same boat as me.
as for crystals: moldavite definitely does something to the pineal. when i wear it for a couple of days i start to get the strobe light when i'm going to sleep. (this also happens with a large amethyst.) i don't know if its good for you, sometimes i worry it might be radioactive or something since it was the result of a meteor strike. mostly i worry because it seems to affect my mood too. (if somebody works in a lab with a geiger counter and can check and tell me, i'd really appreciate knowing if it was or not!). but for sure, its doing something.
about the conversation about the cracking or thump in the head: i had that too after an astral projection once. the room was silent and i was floating backward, then 'thump' as i crashed back home, it sounded like a door slamming.
animals must also have a pineal if it is what we are using to see our dreams. my dogs and cats dream.
to those who don't want to use storebought flouride mouthwash: you can make your own. get herb tea that has a lot of hibiscus in it. make a cup of it, when its cool, add essential oils (a few drops of mint is a good choice, probably best to avoid citrus ones as they can wear away teeth). add a few drops of colloidal silver to stop things from growing in it. i made some and it actually kept for months.
flouride being good for teeth really is a crock. we had that in the water when i was growing up and i have huge fillings in every single large tooth. sure didn't work for me.

you can thank alcoa in tennessee for all the push for fluoride being put into water and such. it is a chemical by-product of creating aluminum and they tried to find a useful way to use this in everyday life. 2 side effects were found. it calmed people who took it and also hardened teeth and in some cases bones.
my teeth are permanently stained a yellowish color from the fluoride treatments i received as a kid and the fact that the state adds fluoride to its water. being as i have always lived in tennessee its a lose-lose situation.
im trying whole-heartedly to stop my intake by drinking spring water or reverse osmosis filtered water, brushing with organic toothpaste w/ no fluoride, along with taking zinc and magnesium supplements.
i need to look into an iodine supplement as well. i have never really thought about sungazing, but i do love to sit on the back deck and watch the sunset over the lake.

there is a group on youtube interested in lucid dreaming and they report using choline bitartrate and b-100 vitamin to increase neurotransmission for better dream recall and lucid dreams.
lecithine from soya is the best source of choline and very cheap in wall mart. 20% of 1200 mg lecithine is choline so you get 200 mg for 5 or 7 cent, this is incredibly cheap
compare to more complex and expensive way to get choline like alpha-agp which is a mix of essentials amino-acid.
choline bitartrate is easy to find in health store specialized in sport like gnc in canada.
5-htp is serotonin, a powerful neurotransmitter and this molecule is the closest legal molecule you can find in any drugstore or pharmacy, to the real thing which is dmt.
dmt is a natural molecule produce by the pineal gland and is responsible for dreams and visual experience induce by dreams, astral projection and soul travel.
you have to train your mind to produce this natural molecule by practising meditation and dream recall.
if you take it externaly, you decrease your capacity to
produce this in your brain so this is working against you
basically, lecithine will feed the pineal gland and the pineal gland will produce melatonine for sleep and dmt for dreams.
the pineal gland contains many crystal cone in some way similar to the cone in the eyes. these crystal work under the principle of piezo-electricity which is the transformation of electromagnetic wave in electricity which is transmitted to the brain by nerve, not electron in a wire but ion in cells from cell to cell this is why its slower than ordinary electricity.
around the 13th hour local sideral time, this natural radiation coming from the center of the galaxy is 400% higher than normal. in montreal, its around 3h00 am in the spring. i took 2 bug capsule of lecithin with b-100 this evening and i can hear a little buzzing sound in my ear right now. its not annoying, just comforting because this is a natural manifestation of holy spirit. this is the basic energy to use for meditation and soul travel. its been more
than 30 years i can listen to this holy sound.
this sound does not come from the ears but from the pineal gland little piezoelectric cone. the next step is to
program or train the brain to convert these electrical impulsion into color light and picture like he does in a dream. this is true meditation also called contemplation.

that is a very interesting post, denisfor.
i have had some experience in the past with taking lecithin to increase recall. since i had read somewhere that lecithin passes quickly through the blood/brain barrier to strengthen and quicken the firing of synapses, i took lots of it when i was in school studying for exams. and, i'm convinced that it did help.
although i was not aware of the connection between lecithin and choline, i'm not surprised to see that it has a positive effect on the pineal so i have added it back to my list of things to supplement with.
thanks for sharing that information.
love and light,

hey ceara,
i have also stopped drinking fluoridated water for the past three years, and i also have a cool (temperature) tickling sensation in the middle of my forehead, which is really very pleasant. i attribute this to the opening of the third eye and the activation of the crown chakra of the pineal gland. what do you think?
denisfor
03-27-2009, 12:25 PM
yes gary, this is very cool and it will help you locating your third eye in meditation to focus all your attention there.
this will activate natural dmt production and give you some experience in soul travel. you are lucky in some way because most people have difficulties in putting their concentration on the right spot inside their head, because it is not between the eyebrow, but deeper inside the brain.
this chakra is the one related to the spiritual eye. this is the place to travel in the microcosm, the subjective world inside of us.
the crown chakra is higher on the top of the skull. it is the place to go out of the body in the macrocosm, the objective world.

thanks, denisfor. i have been meditating for many years. recently, (about two years ago) i started taking [brand name please pm gary for name] crystals for the express purpose of activating the s'ri chakra of the pineal gland by supplying it with billions of devas every day. ultimately, this will develop brahman consciousness. i greatly appreciate your thoughts on microsmic and macrocosmic travel. many thanks!

thank you gary, for the information on the [brand name] crystals, did you had interesting result over the 2 years period.
i research [brand name] on internet and found they are halite crystals, basically ordinary sodium chloride (the salt we use in our soup) dissolved in pure water and activated by a powerful 10 000 gauss neodymium magnet for one hour.
you can search wikipedia for halite and you will see this is simple salt in a pure form, not the lower grade commercial one. the commercial grade is basically the same thing but less pure.
because of your posting, i finally was able to understand an old dream from 10 years ago. in my dream, there was a jar of water with a powerful magnet glued under. the magnet was from an old disc drive (hardrive but it could also come from a big speaker). but for 10 years, i was not able to tell what the magnetic field was doing to the water because the water is very low paramagnetic substance and not at all ferromagnetic.
in the web page, was explained the fact that the magnetic field lower the surface tension of the water,
which makes the water absorbed much easier through the human cell membranes. they are talking about the membrane who protect the brain from chemical toxins and poison. this membrane is a part of every vein and artery of the body. water is the perfect vehicle to transport salt because water dissolve salt which mean separate into component ions.
i don’t like the idea of chlorine and sodium ions going to the brain but i would like potassium and iodine going to the brain because potassium neutralize sodium and iodine neutralize fluor. by neutralize i mean take place of.
sodium and potassium are similar in some way, they are in the same column of the periodic table. same thing for fluor and iodine. so if you intake potassium in kelp, you liberate and expel sodium (a toxin) and can loose weight in the process. if you intake iodine (in kelp too), you liberate fluor from the pineal gland and you can flush this poison too.
so the trick is to put a big 1000 mg kelp tablet in a one liter pure water (inverse osmosis in my case) and glue powerful magnet you can find everywhere at low price, under or around the plastic or glass bottle and you get the bullseye. the magnetic field will lower the surface tension of the water and dissolve a lot of iodine and potassium. the water is then loaded with these powerful ions. this solution will be easier to absorb through the intestine membrane and into the blood and into the pineal gland.
you can also help the process by a few minutes of visualization in your meditation. you visualize these ions going to the pineal gland and cleaning the calcium crystals structure forming there.
calcium is not the culprit, in the pineal gland, fluor is. the calcium crystal are responsible for the piezoelectric effect producing the holy sound we hear and the light too.
to try to remove calcium in the body is nonsense. we loose calcium everyday already. talk to woman about that, they know.
we need to replace fluor with iodine in the pineal gland and it will work better.
older person have a lot of calcium in the pineal gland and they sometime hear dead parent, see them in dreams, and see their guardian angel in the hospital and so on…..
gary, its possible [brand name crystal] is working for you because chlorine is the neighbour of fluor in the periodic table. so this chlorine poison is less dangerous than fluor poison.
but i definitively prefer to try iodine. there is a long tradition and knowledge about iodine doing great thing for the body. you can search an old book folk medicine by doctor jarvis from vermont. he is the one who talk about iodine and kelp and apple cider vinegar and natural honey many years ago. the former boyfriend of my mother is now 103 years old because of this. he was seen on tv and newspapers.
so thank you very much my dear gary, you made my day very rich in understanding.
this is a type of convergence because people from a very different background can help each other on the spiritual plane without claiming their religion is better or master is better or mantra is better. this is like telling you my wife is better than yours. of course my wife is better, she love me.

thanks to all of you who contributed to this thread.
i have learned a lot.
there was someone (don't want to go all the way back right now...as i already feel drowsy),
who asked why the eyes don't get calcified if they are so similar to the pineal gland.
being called an eye-doctor and hopefully helping many of my patients;), i'd like to add my bit:
i remember david saying that the pineal was similar to the retina of the eye...and yes, one of our major fields today is trying to find help for those patients dealing with the degeneration of the macula: mostly elderly people...
studies say to take lots of vitamins c and e and lutein and zeaxanthine, sink, selen and sometimes some more ingredients....so they might be on the right track there....but i always felt that especially in old people you should try to take all vitamins available and the minerals...especially as due to dental problems many have problems to chew or even digest raw vegetables...
does anyone among you know about the workings of lutein/zeaxanthine on the pineal, then? might be interesting...
wishing you all the best week ever!

i suspect she/he did not mean taking it externally, but taking externally produced dmt internally, which would tend to reduce the brain's own output.
this is true of many substances/hormones.

there is very specific yoga kriyas (kriya is for purification) that will allow blood, and energy to circulated through the head. depression is caused from blockage, and any type of headaches can be eliminated.
pm me and i can recommend excellent sources for learning these kriyas safely. the exercises are mixed with qigong techniques for safely opening your energy, and preventing kundalini issues.
definitely good for calcified pineal gland.

densifor says that reversing calcium from our bodies is nonsense:confused: my tricologist states that when the body is to acid in sheer selfdefense it takes calcium out of your skeleton to make the blood less acid.(as done with with acid lakes) the remains end up on the "walls" of the veins.
she has redommended that i drink blond grapefruitjuice with lime to decalcify my veines. do you mean that this is wrong?

hi, trans...
seems everyone has a different take on the pineal/calcium etc..
one version of vitamin k acts as a calcium regulator in that it moves calcium from the arterial walls and puts it into bone. the active k is designated k2-mark7.
i don't know about blond grapefruit (swedish variety blue eye-like-seeded, grapefruit?)
sorry, that was lame.
one problem with calcium is a corresponding lack of magnesium....dangerously low in western diets.
someone mentioned iodine/lugol's solution. cayce advised using "atomidine" ....long story behind that...after 70 years it is still hanging in there. i always drop a drop into my smoothies.
thank you, billious

first time poster:
the pineal gland for those who don't know helps with dreams and possible visions of the future.
a couple weeks ago i wrote to david in an e-mail but i feel this is more of a topic of discussion. he talked about getting products from the green pastures website to decalicify your pineal gland (skate liver oil, butter oil, and cod liver oil). i have purchesed these products but unfortunally i'm in the middle of moving and have no refridigator.
anyway back to the topic of discussion... does anyone know of any other way to help activate this gland. i have done some research and have come to fluride that we drink and brush our teeth with calicifys your gland. so recently i've been drinking distilled water and using organic toothpaste hoping this helps. i've also read that putting a magnet up to your gland will help, which i've tried and it does seem to give me a boost of energy and helps with concentration, but doesn't seem to help with my dreams.
if anyone knows of anything to do please post, i'd be very appreciative.

dear pkibler,
when i was a soldier in the army, i had a young lieutenant tell me to dig his trench for him. he pointed where he wanted me to dig it, and off he went. when he came back, he looked at me, standing in my trench and eating my sandwich and said "where is my trench"?. i looked at the ground where he had wanted me to dig and replied "it's right there sir. all you have to do is take the dirt out"! he wasn't pleased, but he couldn't do anything about it. a man's tench is his own personal responsibility. he later learned not to ask me to make him sandwiches, coffee, or anything else either.
my point being; the information is in this thread, but you must read it yourself.
what i am doing is simple, picking and choosing as i see fit:
- i have removed fluoride of any and all kinds from my intake. i drink water from a four pass reverse osmosis system only (three pass is sufficient, but i have a four pass installed here at home, so that is what i use). i use non fluorinated natural toothpaste.
- i only use sea salt, ground as i need it.
- i eat only "ancient grain" bread
- i do not ingest sugar, or as minimally as i can. i drink no soda, nor eat candy of any kind.
- i take two 550 mg sea kelp capsules three times daily (for the iodine).
- i drink the juice from 1/2 lime daily. once the first month has passed, i will cut this back to once a week.
- i drink 1 glass of white grapefruit juice daily.
- i meditate using various techniques to build my "third eye muscle", as it were
- i have a weekly reiki session (lucky me, my sister does the session for me, as she is a reiki master). i am preparing to take level 1 reiki.
- i have reduced light levels in my room so it is near pitch black when i sleep
- i look at the sun with my eyes closed for one minute every time i am outside, several times a day if possible
- i have increase my amount of daily sleep
- i take one medicated bath weekly, for 45 minutes. by medicated, i mean with epsom salts added. this is for the magnesium. i am still considering magnesium in pill/ capsule form.
- i have almost completely stopped drinking beer and rum, and now have an occasional glass of red wine instead. if i am at friends and they offer a beer/ drink, i have only one.
- i live each day in love and light, and am increasing my vibrational frequency daily. in the morning of each day i thank the creator for giving me this opportunity at another day on this earth. it is, as is the creators love, a blessing.

i have started the flouride detox process and have seen some significant things as a result.
i use:
-[email for brand name] filter on my drinking water. have used this now for the past month and has been amazing at making my water taste incredible, and getting rid of all flouride.
-kelp suppliment- has over 250%dv of iodine for clearing the body of flouride and heavy metal deposits.
-5000iu vitamin d3 suppliment. can't get enough of this stuff.
-[brand name k2 vitamin] (vitamin k2, supposedly decalcifies the pineal gland)
- omega 3,6,9 fish oil suppliment- this is great for your brain. fish oil is supposed to work synergestically with hvbo
additionally, i have stopped using flouridated toothpaste, mouthwash, and other oral products. i use all natural products 90% of the time.
i have definitely noticed the tingle above my brow, and have become very concious of my third eye. i focus on the sensation and try to increase the intensity. i think this is a gradual process that will come with my regimen.
please feel free to ask me [pm please if asking about brand names] any questions.

reverse osmosis does the same thing, basically leaving water with no minerals. in order to remove the fluoride, you must remove everything. this is what i drink.
i do, though, add sea minerals to the water so it is basically re-mineralized and without fluoride or chlorine or pharmaceuticals or other toxins.

there is going to be a boom in the demand for skate fish oil now just because someone (on project camelot i think it was, pete peterson) that it is beneficial for the pineal gland. so now these poor little fish are going to get hunted down more to satisfy people's curiosity etc. surely there are plenty of things we can do through herbs and meditation which can have a just as strong, if not stronger effect.
furthermore, we only have this man's word for it, who heard it from someone else...we don't have actual solid evidence before it if it works. even if it does work, i think it is better to try alternatives, otherwise everyone will soon be buying it.
thanks for the advice derek, by the way. i'm not overly fond of following things that advise people to cut out long lists of foods, although i don't have any of the things on that list anyway, apart from starches and tap water (i live in an area where the water is not fluoridated yet anyway, i checked, although i drink a lot of bottled water too). i believe that if we learn to listen to our intuition, or bodies will tell us exactly what we need as individuals to stay in balance. cutting out starches would be bad for me as carbohydrates help release serotonin which helps with my depression, plus i follow a vegetarian diet, so this would not be good. ;) having said that, going back to a paleolithic diet would be good for our planet (farming crops is bad for the environment), either that or living on sunlight in an ecosystem where there is no death, but a different way of transformation somehow, lol. i'm not against meat eating, but i don't like the taste of meat any more, or the idea of putting something into my body that comes from an animal raised in a horrible factory farm then led to a traumatic death after a long traumatic journey. interestingly though i used to love the taste of meat as a kid, actually more than other foods. so that shows how tastes adapt after time.
does anybody have a feel for the usefulness of staying in theta for extended periods of time to exercise, recondition, or otherwise use the pineal gland?
my experience with the [brand] cds was better than my takes on the [brand] tapes, the other outfit in the pacific northwest, or the fellow selling remote viewing training with binary beat work.

i forgot to mention, the reason i wanted to share my concerns regarding skate fish oil is twofold. 1) a big increase in the demand for this oil may possible be bad for the population of these creatures. 2) even if there aren't concerns over that, the way fish are caught is not humane. i knew someone who dated an native american woman (not sure what tribe), who told him that when they caught fish they did not let them flap around in agony until they were dead, but made sure that it was done as quickly as possible.

hello,
i can help you with the information you need in order to keep your pineal gland in a good shape.
you must avoid: white flour, refined sugar, refined salt, fluoried tap water, carbonated beverages like sodas, fried foods in general.
you should eat only organic foods, most fresh raw vegetables, fish, farmed grow chicken, avoid the regular red meat from convencional farmers.
to help you to decalcify your pineal gland you should have in your house a reverse osmosis filter on your water supply and buy the skate fish liver oil from green pastures to decalcify the pineal gland.
i hope that helps you.

ok so i just watched the source field investigations video and its damn fantastic and is very exciting!.
my whole time speeding up experience just doesnt seem to exist anymore, there seems to be no time in my life anymore.
anyway the thing i was interested in discussing after watching the video was the pineal gland and dreaming. i know that it says if you dont have a good diet then theres more chance of your pineal gland calcifying (sorry if thats spelt wrong) and i also remember there was another thread somewhere on here that recommends a certain type of sleep pattern but i cant recall what it is but anyhoo i just wanted to know others views on wether it might be possible to delay your pineal gland by using it regularly.
the thought just occoured to me when i was watching the video when you look at it in the context of "use it or loose it"
i sleep a lot and dream a lot and have lots of recurring dreams and pretty much all of my dreams are very realistic and are as david describes in the video just visits to other realities. i also have loads of visual disturbance which if i am being honest really doesnt bother me despite the fact that it is so prominent, the only time its really a problem is if i am outside i often seem to see things out of the corner of my eye that arent there but most of the time i can just sit and focus into nothingness and see all sorts of stuff.
i have also had experices of dreaming about things before they happen and sometimes i see things in my head just like the way most people probably imagine things and it seems to be a bit like remote viewing. i have read tarot cards too, not regularly but there is this one person i have read for a few times and i dont know them at all but apparently all my readings are accurate. its weird when i am reading because i get the weird images in my head when i am doing the readings and use it in them, maybe its just part intuition but ive done readings for other people too and have been told by them that they are pretty accurate, my mum used to read cards too years ago although she didnt teach me i just sort of learned on my own.
so anyway back to my original question! even with a poor diet that may well help to calcify your pineal gland, is it possible that just by using it regularly by dreaming a lot or tapping into that sort of psychic, intuitive side could preserve it and slow or even halt the calcification of the pineal gland?
apologies for any rambling these days i seem to just loose my concentration and end up sort of going into a trance and thinking about other things, so i worry that i might not make sense and jumble everything up and not get my point across and sorry to the admins if i have started an unecessary new thread but am sure you will put it where its meant to go, cheers :)
