Religion

hello again guys.
well title explains it. my question is about religion.
im not religious never was. simple could not live by it.
but, 2012 and the law of one and many other things are real, where does this leave religion? where did religion begin? religions like islam, judaism, christianity etc. these holy books, they say these are words of god, well atleast islam says it is. was this information in these holy books, channeled by other beings on another dimension? basically, what is religion and why did it start. personally, islam is the most intriguing as much of the things mentioned in the holy book have come true. was this information channeled? what does ra say about religion?? :d alot of question yes!! but i was just wondering if any information about religions such as islam is mentioned in the reading etc.

the path of spirituality is not a religion it is a way of life.,

i heard this statement from a radio show a few months ago, master kuthumi, and thought it spoke simple truth and left the spiritual and the religion separate. thus, all are spiritual in their quest, regardless if you choose to be a member of an religious group or not.

so to me, religion is a way of structuring teachings, philosophy and an a common approach for the gathering of people to study and apply. yes, using the words or ideals from god written by many lords and master of our past and present time. for some, a place to go, meet and exchange common teachings work well, for others, they may not need this structured system.

i think it is up to each person, to 1, start their own path of spirituality and then decide what works best for them, it may even be a mix of both

again, someone said is well, read, study, listen outside and inside of self, but except only what feels right in your own heart, because you already know your answers. (something like that) :o

from my understanding, the religions of today are there for control purposes, not to set the person free spiritually. i feel that all these religions do have positive messages, but it is shrowded by lies and falsehoods ... keep us divided and fighting each other instead of uniting and asking questions ... imo
